The Kansas City Chiefs’ Dynasty Is FINALLY Finished!!

Kansas City now falls to six and seven. This is the first time ever in the Andy Reid era. So, Ake, what was the biggest reasons that that the Chief lost? Lost. Well, [ __ ] it wasn’t rocket science. It was the wasn’t rock it was the second best defense in the league, Skip. Hey, they look great, man. They came out played a damn good game on defense, man. The the They play a bunch of zone coverage, right? But they matchy. It’s real matchy. Them windows was tight last night. The man coverage was awesome. They strap [ __ ] in man coverage all night. When when Patty did have time, they got good rush. When he did have time, wasn’t nobody open. He had nowhere to throw the ball, man. He had to take off running. Uh that defense, man. They they they ball. And when the ball got tipped in the air, it bounced the Texans way and not the Chief’s way cuz it’s it’s just not the Chief’s year this. It’s just not their year this year, man. So, it ain’t rocket science. You hold Mahomes to 160 yards, three picks, the rush in the coverage matchup like that. Hey, that’s the that’s the results of the game right there. So, kudos to that second best defense in the league. Wait, who’s best? Really? Who fun? Tell them who Well, hold on just a second. Fun. My stats say that the Texans lead the NFL in points allowed by a lot and they lead in yards allowed by a lot. Let me tell you what my stats say. When we went to see them headtohead, our defense got stops in the fourth. They defense didn’t and we won the game. CJ was gone after a quarter. We knocked him out cuz we put him down. You got to put him down. You got to part Yeah. Head on that turf. He He whiplash. Knocked him out. That’s part of it, Skip. Hey, headtohead. Our defense was better in the fourth, baby. Their defense is sometimes it ain’t about yards. It’s about who’s more violent. It’s about It’s about who get stops at the end of the game. I don’t know. The Texans looked violent last night. Did you see Rasheed Rice get hit? That was a car crime. That was awesome. That was a car. That was old school. They came out and bought last night. They came out. They You know what they did? They kind of mimicked that that Bron our game plan. They did. They mimicked our game plan. I’m telling you, bro. For real. I know. I feel they mimic our game plan and that’s how it look. You feel me? The Chiefs did do a good job of of holding uh Hunting Anderson. They did to limited pressures, right? They did it like I said Andy was going to scheme him up. Now, I don’t know what the supporting cast was doing even with all them linemen out, but you got to give them credit for doing that. But you see Hunt, they they didn’t rush like they use. They rush like contain discipline. They rush real discipline. Like, I’m not just going to rush up field and let him get out and and do his patty [ __ ] They rush real. If I ain’t beat him right away, boop, they stop and they kind of just let the inside guys get the pressure and [ __ ] They missing lineman inside as well. So, I like that game plan, man. Yeah, speaking about offensive line, you know, that’s that’s kind of you go going into this game, the Chiefs nightmare fuel. They got three starting offensive linemen out of the game. There’s no Jawan Taylor, no Trey Smith. Simmons is out of the lineup. Then Wan Morris goes down on the first play of the game. So now you’re down to the backup of the backup and they were really smart rushing the pass through last night. They were they wanted to keep Patty caged in there because Patty’s been using his legs to gut defenses this year. But I think it comes down to the offensive line. We look at inconsistent play all year with Patrick. You know, he’s had his receivers in and out of the lineup. Rei was out for the first six games. Wory’s been hurt. Um, but I think it’s on the big boys up front. And I think another key stat is the six drop passes last night. That is the most in Mahomes career. And a lot of those passes, you know, he’s getting pressured and he tosses one up and they can’t come up with the catch. So, struggles on offense. That’s what’s ultimately sinking the the Kansas City ship cuz defense played well last night. That defense was flying around. Well, they they need some bodies on that defense, but I mean Chris Jones was a oneman wrecking crew. Caroftus made plays. They were flying around and he was due for some plays to be made. Yes, both of them. And Bolton, I love Bolton. I think Bolton’s one of the best linebackers in the NFL. I really do think he’s one of the best. McDuffy was following Nico and Nico got off. Yeah. Well, Stout made some plays. So, hey, I hear that, man. Strad made plays when it when when it mattered most. They made more plays in the connection though a little bit. Uh man, the Chiefs got fat while everyone starred, man. They just not as hungry. The only person out there playing with hunger and really passion and desire was Pat. It’s Pat. And you could see it all over the field. Guys were just not playing with that same want to is Pat. And he was having to make everything happen. And he almost did. When he was about to get sacked, he scramble for the first down. When he about to get sacked, he’ll find the open receiver. Now, a couple passes were inaccurate that could have led to bigger plays, but I think he’s been doing almost everything he has to do to win ball games. You can’t put all them interceptions on Pat. Like earlier I said that, you know, you get all the you get all the reward, you got to take all the blame. But in this case, it’s a little bit different. Like you got guys dropping wide open passes for the game in multiple games. That’s completely unacceptable. and and these are guys that have been in trouble and haven’t been doing the right thing. So, the the least you could do is step on the field and do your job and they’re not even doing that. A default line, he’s still getting it done. The defense is helping them. They’re playing great ball, but offensively they dropping passes. Uh Hunt dropped a third and short that was they were on the road to a touchdown, what they really needed on that on that drive. They end up having to kick a field goal. They missed a field goal. A kicker ain’t even doing his job. You got one job. Make the early field goal. make the game, you know, tighter and and more comfortable for your team. They not even doing that. So, um, his support in Cass is no support. I don’t know what’s wrong with me, but I miss the new NFL rule that Patrick Mahomes is above criticism for the rest of his career. That that’s what’s happened here because I didn’t get that memo because I saw a completely different game last night. I saw yet again, as I’ve seen consistently over the last three years, the reason they have declined is because Patrick Mahomes has become wildly inconsistently inaccurate. Just wildly. I I give you four of those six. I don’t know the six drops. I got four. And the the fourth and four drop by Rashi Rice was bad because it just hit him right there. But it was a weird pass because Mahomes has been offbalance and out of rhythm slowly but surely over the last three years. And last night he he goes, “This is horrible. 14 to 33. That’s 42% completion.” And for for the year his completion rate is 63% which is his career low. And for that game he had a QBR last night of 17. And you guys are all giving him a break. I I’m not going to give him a break because the three interceptions were terrible ideas and terrible throws. All three of them. Because the first one got tipped up that Petri got. It was a great play. Petri is a He’s a bad man. Laid the wood. He lays wood on everybody. He did at Baylor if you watched him at Baylor. Mhm. All right. Then the second interception is is a terrible underthrow to Hollywood that Lacader just drops back and just picks it. And then the last one to Kelsey. It’s way behind him where he has to reach back and they they’re including that as one of the six drops, but it’s it’s so far behind him that he reaches back and tips it up in the air and and Alsh gets it. Okay. So, those are three terrible interceptions. You’re going to lose. If you throw three bad interceptions, even at home, and they don’t turn it over, you’re you’re going to lose that game. And then on the the fourth downs, the the fourth and one pass, it it was late. You you know, you think Shadur holds the ball too long. Mahomes holds the ball like crazy on and and no one ever criticizes it. But but it’s almost like every drop back is I got it and I’m I’m going to do this a little bit and then I’m going to see if I can escape. But if I can’t and to your point, they had him hemmed in last night, which is the way you have to attack him because he can run. He does. He looks too big to run, but but he can he can rumble. I don’t know. He’s got weird little wheels. He’s got weird athletic ability for his because he looks like he weighs 240 and and yet if you hem him in then he’s going to do this and do this and at the last second he’s going to do this with a shorts stop throw and and receivers are offbalance, out of rhythm, broken routes. I I you know, oh it’s it’s at their feet or it’s a little high or it’s a little off. I don’t I don’t know. I just don’t see consistent any sort of Bradyesque accuracy from Patrick Mahomes. And it hurt them all night long. I I I don’t know. What am I missing here? I’ve never seen Brady have to move like that to get out of trouble. The ball. It’s in the the nine straight AFC. Okay, I’ll give you that. Wins and five out of six Super Bowls. So, I give you that. Everything that you’re talking about, it must be working, Skip. Okay. But his numbers have consistently fallen dramatically over the last three years. I think it’s on the outside. I think I think the inconsistent play on the outside, guys in and out of the lineup, right? The one thing Kansas City always had was speed, right? They can spread you out and then that’s where Mahomes makes off schedule throws, that’s where he usually finds Kelsey or usually finds a guy late in the play. Cuz if you look back over the last couple years, their great success, Mahomes hanging in the pocket, moving around, moving just enough to hit Kelsey. That safety blanket is gone. You know, Kelsey’s definitely taking a step back. He is taking a step. Worthy is kind of a one-trick pony. You know, he can go deep. He can burn you, but he’s not really gonna work underneath. Ray Rice is their stud. He misses the first six games and now he’s dropping passes. He’s just he’s not looking good. And then again, I keep coming back to the offensive line, but that’s what’s they’ve been great. They had a good But they’ve been down for years. Like even in the Philly chip, we talk about they got dominated. They Yeah, they got dominated. But it’s all backups and like we need tackles. Like Dan Taylor’s out of there. I mean, the guy’s a walking penalty. Who doesn’t have backup offensive line? There’s no great backup offensive line as a receiver. The ball touches your hands. You got to catch it. You should catch it in the NFL. Do you agree, Skip? Yeah, but he just Everybody’s doing this. Everybody’s doing this. And after a while, they catch some of them. You get paid, too. I’m running for my life. If I get it anywhere near your body, his longest completion of the night was 35 yards to Hollywood Brown on that deep ball. It’s way thrown. It’s way thrown. He has to slide to catch it. What was going on in front of him when he when he threw it though? Yeah, it’s a mess. Okay. But but you can lead him a little more and get it up five yards up where he could turn and go. I think the only bad ball he threw the ones you named was the pick to Lacier. Now that should have that could have been a little bit deeper to that back pylon, but it was a good play by him, too. That was the only one. And I need to say he did throw one really good ball to Taekquin Thornton in the end zone. It was late third quarter. And Lasser made a hellacious play to catch up and knock it away. Lasser’s He’s pretty good. Good corners. They all play well together. That whole Houston they play really well together. They fly around. The guys up front, they got two great ends in Denil Hunter and Will Anderson, but it’s those big bodies in the middle. They got those big bodies. Okay, let’s push the pocket. Let’s make him escape back and let’s let those defensive ends eat. Okay, so on the fourth and 332 it’s a tie game. Okay, Andy Reed says after the game, we’ve been pretty good on those. Well, you’re you’re living in your past. You know, you used to be really good. You were unstoppable at those, but you haven’t been all year this year. And in a tie game with your defense, which which by the way is seventh in points allowed is pretty good. And CJ has a hard time. He hasn’t really We’re about to get to him, but but they weren’t exactly cooking last night on offense. So you should there obviously it’s it’s an obvious just punt it and let your defense play defense the way they’ve been playing all game. Make them earn it. You know, put put the ball in Houston’s offensive hand. You just gifted them seven points, right? Those two plays being two good plays in the punt. They got two good plays in the touchdown there now. So that was a terrible punt. They should have ran it anyway. You got big hunt back there. He been doing he been running well. They can’t. Well, they they they they can’t. I mean, that’s what’s been missing is usually they have the potent rushing attack, right? They got Mahomes under center. They got Pacheco going downhill. They got Hunt going this year. Now they’re trying to do everything out of the gun and they’re trying to get everything to work out of the gun. And that’s been kind of a leaguewide issue. It’s like we want to run the ball, but we’re going to run it out of the gun. And when you run it out of the gun on defense, that makes it easy for you guys because there’s no window dressing on it. Right? When you’re in the gun, that back can only come to the midline and then he’s got to put push it front side and it makes the cut back hard cuz all those defenders are sitting. And I think, you know, just everything that’s going on in Kansas City, I just don’t see the run game being as potent as it once was. But on but on third and one and fourth and one, it been dominant. You know what I’m saying? They they make play been dominant in the guard game. So why not do that? Even if you get somebody on you. He ran through that first tackle. Exactly. Hunt came through. He was there. Bob ran put him on his knees. Dropped a touchdown. That’s what you do. So you guys think Broncos will go to Kansas City and win or not? I got game split. Yeah. We we we kind of just watching what the Patriots do. You know what I’m saying? They win. We got We want to stay healthy. You know, you got know it’s a head game. But you were saying you want one win down the stretch or you want one loss. We going to lose the stretch just to get it out the system. And you’re fine if that’s to Kansas City. God, we don’t give a [ __ ] who is too. Okay. Well, well, if you lose that game, they already out the playoffs. They they have a chance to win out because they got the Chargers and then they go to Tennessee. They got you and then they go to Raiders. So, I don’t know. So, they still ain’t dead, huh? So, they still ain’t dead. Yeah. What’s the likelihood of getting them them getting the when they got 15% chance? Yeah, that would get them to what? 10 and seven if they Was that right? If they went out. Yeah, wide open. Yeah, AFC’s wide open. I don’t think 10 and seven will get it. I just don’t think it’ll get there. And I think I I think you guys will beat them there cuz I think they are reeling and the Chargers could get them. I know the Chargers could get him. They got him in the beginning. They did. They sure did. Well, I think Skip Bis hates Patrick Mahomes. I think I don’t hate him. I’m just telling the truth about him. Am I not accurate? I got stats to back it up. You’re saying he declining, but he went to the chip every year. You say 40-6 to Philadelphia. 40 to6. I’m sure a lot of teams want to be there, but it’s so bad about the year before that. They never recovered from 40 to six. They haven’t. I would agree with that. A lot of teams don’t even go back to back championship anyway. So to get even back to the championship and then back to the championship and then back to the championship. Come on now. Like you know last year it was similar to Denver. Different situation but similar like they were they were just collecting really close wins. Really close was too though. Yes. Right. Right. Right. But but but the Chiefs were the ones that ran out of steam first. Who was healthier in that ball game? The Chiefs the Chiefs. The Eagles were Exactly. That’s it. And the pass rush got going. I I still believe that. Why the pass rush get going? cuz the cuz the Chiefs tackles ain’t healthy, right? Out of there. All right. Well, Kee, I spent enough time with you. I don’t doubt the Broncos anymore, but statistically the Texans are the best defense in the league. Okay. We We don’t just go by statistically. You know what I’m saying? So, with the best defense in the league, TJ, I need to know how

  1. I've been saying this for years mahomes makes passes off of broken routes and plays he just waits for his WRs routes to end and the opposing dbs to get co fused off the broken route to me the play/pass

  2. Texans have the 2nd best defense rush yards aloud denver 1st 3rd down stops Denver 1st passing yards aloud Denver 1st sacks denver 58 which is 1st totle yards aloud Denver 2nd next team in sacks are 18 sacks behind Denvers 58 sacks

  3. Skip is correct, if the refs did not Help a lot they would never have been in the SB last yr. He has lost the ability to sit in the pocket and go through progressions. He played the position with athleticism and i always said that had an expiry date.

  4. Broncos fans are delusional. Illegal hit on CJ and needed to be bailed out by the refs so they didn’t lose to Davis Mills. CJ was cooking the donkeys

  5. Homeboy is not why KC got bitch slaped the play calls are same ol same ol the o line is not what it uses to be the WR forgot how to play the Defence needs 10 new starters st has been way better in passed games PAT still plays at a hight lvl

  6. Get ready for a new era of defensive pressure style of football. Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, and Josh Allen are losing their divisions because their play-style doesn’t want to adapt.

  7. mahomes stares down his 1st option if it isnt there he runs around until coverage breaks and hits a wide open guy or he runs or he gets sacked. he doesnt read defense, he relies on athleticism, tom bradys last year in new england was the worst new england team he was ever part of, terrible o line, no skilled position guys, gronk was banged up, julian edelman was done, and he still went 12 and 4. his mechanics are trash. his fundamentals are wrong.

  8. The Chiefs have declined in the last 3 years as skip said but they won back to back superbowls. Skip is a clown, yet he can't come up with a QB who is better

  9. Mahomes needs to lay off the hamburgers and start on the impossible burgers. He got tired of the body shaming with his beer gut and started wearing looser hoodies to hide his increasingly rising tummy.

  10. been telling you that since 2019. Mahomes makes an easy quick throw / play so difficult and y'all are amazed after he runs in circles and then makes a completion. Now let's not forget all that success has a big factor too, Andy Reid, Kelce, Jones and at the beginning cheat

  11. Funny thing is Chief's best way to get to the playoff now is, top hope the Broncos beat the Chargers in the last game of the season. Because the other 3 options isn't happening, because they would require Jacksonville and Buffalo to lose out, or Texans to lose 3/4, with Daniel Jones injurie and Justin Herbert hurt the Texans have one of the easier schedule to end the season. That leaves the two team with the hardest, the Broncos and Chargers, but they can't catch the Broncos anymore, but they can the Chargers. But for them to take the Chargers spot, they need the Broncos to beat them.
