Giants’ Wan’Dale Robinson, Jermaine Eluemunor and CorDale Flott set for big pay days

Raanan is usually very good predicting player contracts. He famously called DJ getting 40aav + when others were saying 20.
From this article:
Raanan thinks Wandale gets a big chunk more than Shakirs 15 mil aav.
Flott should get a little more than Paulson Adebo got.
And Jermaine Elumenor should get the Taylor Moton contract (22mil aav) as a starting point.
Free agent contracts always end up a bit higher than expected, so imo just add like 10% from last years deals. Wandale ofc appears to be in line for even more money as he is much better than Shakir.
I like WanDale but Flott and Eluemunor are more important to the teams success
Let them all walk. Clean house. The team is awful.
How is it possible that we are a (or THE) bottom team in the NFL, and when we look at individual players, there is a very positive vibe around a big part of the roster?
Pro Bowl/All Pro: Thomas, Burns (Nabers if healty)
Should get big pay day: Robinson, Eluemunor, Flott
Decent (this year) with upside: Dexter, Thibs, Carter
Decent/fine play this year: IOL, Holland
Howcome there is a positive vibe around almost all these players, and yet we are the worst team in the league. Is it just bad luck (4x double digit losses), bad coaching, or are we just to high on these players?
I’m interested in seeing what happens here. The argument that Schoen has assembled a young core of talent evaporates if he lets that talent walk or kills the cap to retain them.
I would focus on Flott first. Young guy coming into his own and the best may be in front of him.
If Adebo has another really bad year, the giants may want to cut him after the 2026 season since they can save a lot on the cap and the giants like every team need CBs.
Elumenor is the next priority because this OL can turn from a strength to a weakness very quickly, but if the price is way too high I wouldn’t be surprised if the giants look to use their 1st round pick on a Tackle.
Wandale is 3rd and I won’t be shocked if some other team gives him a bigger contract than the giants are willing to pay. WR contract often tend to surprise me.
Wan’Dale as good as Devonta Smith
We finally have a reliable WR behind Nabers and half you geniuses are eager to jettison him off to another team because “he’s replaceable”
So fucking tired of it. Pay our good players. We can’t constantly be in a rebuild. I’m not saying make him highest paid WR, but we have a QB and our cap is healthy. Instead of throwing Robinson away for a new shiny toy, why don’t we let Dart keep the toys he’s bonded with AND give him a new shiny toy?
Personally I’d prioritize Eluemunor first, Flott second, then Wan’Dale. Gotta protect Dart and I shudder to think what this secondary would be without Flott. I like Wan’Dale but wouldn’t break the bank for him given I’d rather lock up Eluemunor and Flott first.
I say a WR is more replaceable in the sense we can draft a good one in the second and third round for a much lesser cost. A CB and a OT are much harder to replace. Let’s start the habit of retaining our best players
If we don’t see at least one of them extended over the bye (specifically Elemenour) I think it’s a pretty good indicator that Joe Schoen isn’t the GM next year.
Wan’Dale should be a priority signing if the money makes sense. He is crucial to having a well balanced receiving core, which is crucial for a young QB. Without him, Nabers would NEVER get open. It’s not easy to strike gold on drafting WRs so don’t act like he’s easily replaceable to cope with that he might cost alot to retain.
Eluemunor is not as much of a priority signing. Mbow has shown some early promise that he could become the regular starter. I think it’s more important that they make sure Bricillo is still around to keep coaching this line as he has elevated what we already have, and we can see that from the improvement with players who have been around such as Schmitt (who everyone thought was a complete bust).
Flott is definitely one to keep an eye on. He’s had great flashes of potential, but some consistency issues. If they can retain him for a team-friendly deal, that would be awesome.
There isn’t enough money to pay all 3. We gotta take the fan glasses off.
Eluemunor is turning 31 Dec 13th (4 days). Put yourself in his shoes. This free agency is most likely his last opportunity to get a contract. Take the biggest pay check possible, doesn’t matter from who. Giants have very little cap space for next year as is.
Flott – Please pay him. The guy is improving each year despite the coaching.
WDR – Let’s not make the same mistake as with Slayton. The guy is still the smallest receiver with no catch radius. He is not reliable, yes he had 2 monster games but also games where he had 14, 26, 30, 34, 36 yards. The team is going to bring in more receivers and Nabers will be back from injury. WDR will return to his average of 30-40 yards per game. [https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/R/RobiWa01.htm](https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/R/RobiWa01.htm)
Pay Wandale
Draft RT in first round
Try to Sign or trade a #1 corner to replace flott.
Yall really want to keep Flott?? Kid gets burned every game smh.
Sign em all. Keep our good players and continue to build.
