can’t chase him down. He’s not doing it. So, they get the huge defensive touchdown on the Burrow mess up. He either came out of his hands or he was trying to stop. It was very strange, Joe. That’s not I’m sure he’s furious about it. That’s Christian Bedford. Great play. Burrow can’t believe it. But they’re not done cuz they’re the Bengals. They’re never done. Down four. Oh. Oh my gosh. That’s a pick. It’s another pick. AJ Vanessa. Guess what? The Bengals still aren’t done. They’re never done. They will just keep trying to fire as he goes to chase. We’re going to see the glorious slow-mo interception in the snow globe. Speaking of glorious, Joe, you look great. All right, Allen up four, pumping, pumping, and touchdown. Jackson Haw that’s like it’s not Dawson Knox. It’s not Donkey K. They’re growing on trees in Buffalo West. Is he like one of the best quarterbacks ever? He’s unbelievable. put the team on your back. Is this team going to win the Super Bowl for the Bills? I don’t know. Is it going to be weird if they do and the Chiefs aren’t in the playoffs? I don’t know. We’ll talk about it. In the meantime, come from behind win. They were losing this game. The Burrow thing had momentum and the Bengals are going to do this and then Josh Allen just flipped this switch and they score 39 points to win by five afterwards. Let’s hear from the quarterbacks, I think. Let’s get into it. Obviously, really tough game. Um really good team that we just played. Guys made plays tonight. Um it was cool to see our fans stay in the fourth quarter. So we all learned, you know, that’s how the cookie crumbles. I knew, like I said, I knew it was going to be an uphill battle for us when when I was coming back. And that’s not, you know, that wasn’t really in my thought process too much. Um and I just wanted to come back and put on a show and uh play well in front of everybody. Listen, some cookies crumble that way, Joe. But like sometimes you take that cookie out of the package and it just disintegrates in your hands. And that’s what it felt like the final couple minutes for the Bengals. That was so tough to watch for Bengals fans and for Burrow hoping for a resurgence for Cincinnati. But this guy, he took over. There’s a reason why he’s got that MVP list uh on his resume. Mani, it was a thrilling game. Did the Bills convince you yesterday? Uh no. The Bills didn’t convince me. I I will say this about the Bengals. I thought that the Bengals week 14 probably was the scariest team in the AFC North. I that’s what I thought as far as what Al Golden and that defense were able to do the past three weeks and you obviously understand the potential of that offense and how deadly that offense is with all of those weapons. I thought they were their scariest team if they were to get into the playoffs. Now Joe Burrow did Joe Burrow things, but what I thought came alive is the Bills defense, especially in that fourth quarter with those with that pick six by AJ Panessa. That was the first play of the next drive. So, you’re talking about 21 points that were scored within the span of credit to the Bengals defense. I mean, the Bills defense, what they were able to do with those two take takeaways and lead to points. I thought that’s what turned the tables for their team. Willie, yeah, congratulations to the Buffalo Bills. They’re nine and four and Josh Allen continues to delivers. He’s pretty much the mailman. He can deliver in any weather. But the cause for concern for me is is the run game. NBA had a pretty good game. and they had 183 yards or six yards a pop. But James Cook, he’s he’s starting to have the whoopsies, man. His fumbles are starting to be a concern of mine. This is on the goal line and this is this is this is bad, right? You talk about two fumbles in backtoback weeks. And this is a Bills offense that thrives when they can run the ball and protect the ball. And right now, James Cook when they go through him, they’re pretty dangerous. This is a dangerous team when they’re able to do what they do on the ground. with him having the fumbles as of late, there’s a cause of concern. He has to protect that football and they got to be a lot better at protecting the football, running the game and running the ball. He’s having a fantastic year running the ball. I mean, he’s really really escalated his game when the ball’s in his hands. But I agree, especially as it gets colder and the defenses now know there’s blood in the water, they’ll go after it. I I’m starting this era of Bills football and I I remember thinking this yesterday watching the game. They just resemble a basketball team and they got this guy who just starts hitting threes like from the logo just pulls up from half court hits it hits it hits it and that’s Allen and he goes into this stopped. I don’t know if there’s enough team around him to like win the series or win the conference but social media and good for Buffalo for winning it because they needed to. This next week is the biggest Bills game of the year. They’re going to Foxboro. They’re going against a team that never loses, that hasn’t lost in it feels like a year, that beat them last time, that wants to come for their division, the East. They want to put the Bills down to the wild card. The the Bills lose next week. It is a passing of the torch that that they have held for years. This was a fun game with a lot of candy and credit to them for winning and the defense did make a few plays. This is now Patriots week for the Bills. So, Josh Allen did not do all that magical stuff last time they played him. This is the biggest game of the year. Good for them. Check the box. gets a nine and four. But if you lose this week to the Patriots, again, you are going to be a wildcard team. And again, over the last four years of all these Josh Allen teams, I don’t see this one as one of the stronger teams that they’ve had. So, the world is different now, guys, because there’s a very good chance that when the Bills get to the playoffs, their tormentor is not going to be waiting for them. The Chiefs are probably out. So, is their new tormentor, the ones in Foxboro in their own division? We find out next week. Big win. Fun stuff. Huge, huge week coming. A question. Last week you brought up the 94 and 95 NBA titles that the Houston Rockets won and how they did so without Jordan playing for the Bulls. And you are presently actively currently beating the drum on if the Chiefs aren’t there, it might not have the same weight if the Bills are able to make a run. Take me back to the mid90s. Were people saying this about the Houston Rockets as it was unfolding or is it more of a hindsight is 2020 thing and do you feel like you’re trying to get ahead of history just in case it happens? Oh yeah, Houston would be furious about this. But those two titles are like and Jordan was playing baseball. Good for you. I I I you have the trophies, you have the parade, Kenny Smith, all Elijah, I love you guys. Like it was a huge thing going on in the NBA at that time that Michael Jordan was not there. This is not apples to apples, but I I just if the Bills win the Super Bowl this year and they didn’t go through Kansas City, it’s a little strange. Asteris, I’m not going to use the A word, Willie. It’s a little strange. A little strange. And the Rockets fans are always like, “Oh, you wouldn’t have had anything for Alajan anyway. The Bulls wouldn’t Listen, I hear what you’re saying. I know they didn’t have an answer for they had like three big old white centers that had 18 fouls. They would have used all of them.” All right. They would They would have found a way. I’m sorry, Houston. I don’t know why we’re pulling you into this fight, but it will be a conversation piece. Trust me. Not necessarily led by us or me. If the Bills win the Super Bowl or even the AFC, and they didn’t beat the Chiefs, especially if Chiefs are back next year and then they beat the Bills again in the playoffs. Like, what the heck? You got to beat the Chiefs. The Bulls had to beat the Pistons. They beat them. They walked off the floor. It’s just it’s something that’s been bothering me lately. Kyle’s brought it up 17 times, but it’s not going to be led by him. It’s not going to be something contextually that we carry that flag, brother. Carry that flag. Exactly.
