Nabber is such an underrated defensemen and a cornerstone of this team

Yeah it’s a great stat and he’s a stud.
There is so much two way talent in the D corps that it really overshadows him which is why I think he is so underrated. His playstyle is what activates Theo. Also McNabb has the lowest Corsi and Fenwick on defense (he is always matched up against the oppositions top line), so he’s not peeling a ton of eyeballs with his own play when he is on the ice even though he’s doing his job.
He’s one of the best stay at home defenseman in the league imo. Keeps the front of the net clean, can shut down rushes, blocks shots, and moves the puck. He’s definitely been a big reason for our success the last 9 seasons
I don’t know how likely it is, but I could see his number getting retired by the franchise one day.
OG misfit, member of the 2023 championship team, consistently reliable stalwart on defense for almost a decade up to this point, plays an unselfish/physical game, current franchise leader in games played, etc.
He and Martinez are shot block machines. I really miss Martinez
