  1. Enshittification of this franchise continues. Mailloux, Lucic, and now Dube. We deserve to not win hockey games

  2. Guilty until even after proven innocent i guess. Girl got ran through, felt disgusted with herself, took it out on the guys. Acquitted for a reason.

  3. Yes, I understand he was acquitted. But still… that poor girl. This is not a good look for the team.

  4. Obviously this isn’t an isolated decision by Springfield lmao. That being said, he went through the legal system and was acquitted (regardless of the circumstances). It’s kind of wild to ban this player from the league just due to popular opinion. Sets a dangerous precedent and certainly innocent players would get caught in the crossfire due to a malicious accusation if this became the standard we judge on

  5. All of you here must be choir boys. I don’t condone what happened however apparently the woman started and was a willing participant in the incident in question, now all of you get to confession asap.

  6. Innocent till proven guilty. The judge did not find these guys guilty. That’s the end of it. It would be ludicrous to ban these guys from the NHL due to an accusation that was not proven in the court of law.

The judge repeatably called the female an unreliable person in terms of remembering what happened. She was on video saying she was sober at the time but then only later claimed to be drunk. She was cheating on her partner at the time of this happening and went back to the room after to retrieve her ring that she took off. If someone was sexually assaulted, does it make sense for the person to willingly go back to the scene? I dont think it does at all.

It is so tiring to see mens lives ruined due to unfounded accusations from females.

  7. Don’t know why we’re all up in arms about this he signed an AHL contract with Springfield. The Blues don’t own Springfield so they can sign any player they want to. We at no point could call him up in any fashion without signing him and him clearing waivers. I understand the distaste but he’s not a Blue.

  8. I hate this so much. Beyond his behavior in that hotel room, let’s not forget he tried to use mental health as a reason for his leave from Calgary.

  9. I really hope this decision was made by the Springfield Thunderbirds and the Springfield Thunderbirds alone.

I’m just not gonna spend any money on this hockey team if this guy is on our roster.
