All memes aside, this seems to be his subtle way of telling the locker room “I’ll add at the deadline this year if you keep earning it.”

I mean considering we were out of the playoffs a week ago… I’d say so.
Wait, I thought this was “Whose Line is it Anyway?” were the points are made up and don’t matter.
What I do like is, for the rookies that made it and stayed, they’re sticking around despite the occasional growing pains, and they’re doing well for the most part.
It’s been a funny season. We drop a couple and feel like damn, we are cooked, that’s it, and then learn that the 7th place team is only five points out of first in the division.
I’d expect that to stretch out a bit as the season goes on, but this is far better than expected from them this year.
I want to be interested but the AI writing is just middle school level sloppy. I struggled when I got to nonsensical intro to the part about Kasper, and gave up when it had his stats backwards.
I think a good bit of this will hinge on the goaltending. If we get the Gibson who came to play last night the rest of the season, we could actually make some noise. If we get the Gibson who tunes out after letting in 1 or 2, then it might be more of the same.
What do you expect a GM to say? “nah, we’re good. 4 of those came off a lucky bounce or two, let’s just miss the playoffs because we didn’t earn it”
This is the epitome of why I hate sports broadcasting/ journalism. Thank you for the information no one already knew.
