[A a r o n] The Sabres are in sole possession of 30th in the NHL. 2 points seperate them from last place, 7p despite playing 1 more game separates them from a playoff spot. Is it technically over given this division no, but folks, it’s over, in December, again

  2. Anyone expecting anything different this year is certifiably insane

    The Sabres are a broken org right now. We have a lot of promising players who have a role in the NHL, but we have too many guys who are not top 6 players

    Yeah they have had absolutely terrible injury luck, but injury luck shouldn’t have you looking like straight trash most days

    Whole organization needs to be cleaned top to bottom. Not a single person in scouting or front office can be kept, no coaches…nothing.

  4. Why do I care more than them?
    I dont get paid to wear blue and gold, its just in me to want this team succeed.  If you gave me an nhl base salary, I would literally bleed for this team.  The culture in this locker room sucks…..
    …and yet this has been going on for 15 years.

    so the common denominator is ownership.

    this ownership has a toxic culture.

  5. If you’re a sick SOB like myself with season tickets – make your displeasure heard over the rest of the season.

    Might seem like they don’t care – but when it’s heard on the broadcast and the media hears it, it tends to piss off the front office. (See palm trees from last year)

  8. It was over after they started 0-3. They aren’t good enough to play consistently well over a full season and digging even the slightest holes is a death sentence. The slow start along with a GM that is mentally disabled is a recipe for a 15th year in a row of missing the playoffs.

  11. It’s not even that they are not going to make the playoffs this year. The issue is that they are not remotely fucking competitive. I’ve never seen a team give up so many pucks in their defensive Zone that lead to goals like this team. And their passes in the offensive zone are so far off the mark half the time it leads one to wonder if they even practice. And the number of shots they take on the power play that miss the net by 5 ft and exit the zone is utterly unprofessional. This is not a professional hockey team.

  13. It’s over. Stop the hope, it’ll kill you. Accept failure, clean the coaching and front office, prepare for the trade deadline and get your scouting team boosted and working hard.

  14. Till Terry gives up controlling the team, this will be our yearly theme. Same story, different year.

  15. The 4 or 5 player with grit and heart cant carry the rest of an aloof roster that’s cool with being a joke.

    Its noticed all over that the team just doesn’t care.
