  1. Shedeur 350 yards and 4 TDs ✓

    Myles sack ✓

    Carson 13 tackles ✓

Moved up in the draft ✓

    Bubba cements his firing ✓

  2. This is the most productive start by a Browns rookie QB in history.

This is also the most productive start by an NFL rookie QB since Joe Burrow was a pup.

It’s time to give Andrew Berry the keys — Dumpster DePodesta is gone and next up is Sterile Stefanski.

Shedeur is clearly the Browns best and most cost controlled option while they deal with the final years of the Watson contract. Investing more draft capital on a squeeky voiced Kirk Cousins clone would be ridiculous and prevent filling the actual holes this roster has.

Find a real HC (preferably not a 2 time HC of the year winner), draft offensive weapons and lineman, maybe trade back like last year if the pick is high enough.

  3. Remember when Jason Lloyd said that the Browns should just cut Sanders because he wasn’t worth the distraction?

  4. He had a very nice game when he desperately needed one to keep himself in the conversation going forward. That TTT is atrocious still but making progress like he did yesterday is all he can do to try to make the Browns pass on the QB who probably will be sitting in their laps.

  5. Genuine question:does Gabriel just get cut this off season if Watson serves as back up next year?

  6. There is still some stuff to clean up, but It was an encouraging performance. He needs to build off of it these final 4 games cause as of right now if they are top 4 and either Mendoza or Moore is available at their pick im taking them if im the Browns.

  7. Yesterday was a big victory, maybe possibly having a real QB with 4 more games to evaluate is huge. This is far more important than a 13-10 Gabriel win.

  8. If we had a good line, you can really see a career there. He has a nice, accurate arm and throws a really catchable ball.

  9. Google “Cleveland Browns great coaches” to get perspective, gents. They are few and far between. Stefansky is a modern coach. He is recognized outside of Cleveland as one of the best in the NFL.

You are the same fans that will be jumping up and down for joy over winning the conference in the next few years, bragging to each other how you were always on the Stefanski bandwagon. It was the others that didn’t understand.

    Yeah, that’s you.

  10. Flat out, this is the guy! You don’t accidentally throw for 350+ yards and account for 4 TDs in your third ever start. That last four minutes, down 14, to stay cool and deliver back to back TDs to potentially win the game, that is extremely special! Mel Kiper had it right! This was the most talented QB in the previous draft. It’s also great to see the opposing stars on other teams co-signing how special he is.

  11. He’s got some serious flaws but I feel like he’s taken coaching really well. It was butter soft defense from the Titans in the 2nd half but what he did was still far better than anything else we’ve seen this year.

  12. Shadeur is not the problem (although he does try to find the touchdown not the first down, which is why he holds onto the ball so long).

Like, I like watching him and am excited for his potential development.

Now please, for the love of God cut the r4pist and draft some solid big boys up front for offense.

  13. Guys, we might have already found our QB. How about using this draft to actually put the offensive tools around to help him. I was impressed with his performance yesterday.

  14. The watch celebration looks silly without a watch. Not saying he should wear one, just that he should think of a celebration/taunt that doesn’t look like he’s showing off his bare wrist or wristband.

  15. Shedeur is showing real growth in his game and that’s encouraging. He’s stepping up in the pocket instead of drifting into sacks, playing more on time, and getting it to his checkdowns when the play isn’t there. He looks generally comfortable on the field which is awesome and a huge testament to the both himself and the coaching staff. I think it’s premature to anoint him the franchise QB, but he’s on a trajectory towards being a viable starting option in 2026 and that’s all you can ask for from a 5th round pick.

  16. I’m not convinced yet that we are moving on from Stefanski despite the terrible decisions he’s made recently this season.

One positive is that he at least took the training wheels off of Shedeur and it worked out (at least in the sense of showcasing his ability)

  17. It’s been cool to see Shedeur make corrective adjustments to his game week over week. Feel like he should be given every opportunity going into next season to be the starter

  18. IDK if you’re going to look at both QB,s in a throwaway season isn’t smarter to put in the better one last?

  19. How many times do we have to make the same mistake of throwing everything away and ignore other glaring roster issues in hopes that yet another new savior rookie QB will magically solve all of our problems? I have no idea what Shedeur’s long-term prospects are, but I think we’ve seen enough to at least now safely use our draft picks on an elite WR (like Carnell Tate) and desperately needed OL instead. Hopefully he’ll keep developing throughout 2026 – we don’t need him to necessarily be amazing, but we need an OL and better receivers. If Sanders can continue developing in the off-season and we give him some sorely needed new tools to work with + continued development of our other amazing rooks (Judkins, Schwesinger, Fannin, Graham etc) 2026 could look WAY different. And if not, we can put another quarterback in a FAR better position in 2027 when Watson is gone for good.

  20. If Shedeur keeps showing promise over these next 4 games, my prediction is:

    * We don’t draft a QB next year.
    * We trade one of our 1st round picks for a 1st in 2027.

Throw some valuable assets and big money at the OL, snag another receiver or two, and give Sanders a full offseason with starter reps and more talent around him.

Let the coaches build the system a bit more around his strengths. Give him every opportunity and resource to be THE GUY moving forward. Huge bonus that he’s so cheap and controllable if he does pan out.

And if it doesn’t work out, use your multiple 1s in 2027 to go get Arch. And probably move on from your coaching staff as well.

    That’s my guess.

  21. Sanders is QB1. Gabriel is QB2. We should settle on this right now. Move forward by drafting WR1 and OL with all our picks in first and second round of the draft.

  22. Get Bill Callahan back, build a line, get a stud WR in 1st round and a OL and let #12 cook.

  23. It was the freaking Titans.

Can we see how he plays in the next few games first, please?

Side note. I can’t believe it’s 2025, and there are dolts who still think “building the team first, then the QB” is a winning strategy.

    THE QB IS EVERYTHING.

  24. The fact that this coaching staff though Gabriel was better is a fireable offense, everybody needs to go so they can get 12 some actual coaching

  25. Bringing in a new coaching staff will set Sanders development back

Having to learn a new offensive scheme new language that’s something that also has to be considered.

  26. Many people have mentioned that Shedeur was an odd choice of a backup because his play style is different than Gabriel and would be more suited to a gameplan specifically set up for him. I don’t even consider what he did vs the ravens to be meaningful because of limited reps.

We will not know for sure but based on the fact that the coaching staff is spending tons of extra time with Shedeur even before he was starting, they seem pretty committed to catching him up to speed so he can play.

The reversion to many bad habits in the rams game illustrated that he was not ready at the beginning of the season.

  27. The thing is this was against the worst team in the league. He looked good against them and the Raiders (another horrible team) so I’m not sold just yet. Much better than Gabriel though, so much so that I can’t believe Gabriel started before Sanders.

  28. Now we’re chalking up moral victories against the team with the worst record in the NFL lol.
