OILERS TODAY | Pre-Game vs BUF 12.09.25
[Music] As the home stand rolls on, the Others hope their offense can do the same as they host the Sabres on Tuesday night. Now, Buffalo is playing the second half of a back-to-back, have lost three straight. And in those losses, they have given up a combined 16 goals. On the flip side, Edmonton has put up 15 in their last two outings as the group feels like they’re beginning to find their groove and rhythm. Um, yeah, I mean, we’ve obviously got rewarded a little bit here lately, which is nice to see, but I think our overall game is taken a little bit of a step. I think in in in all areas. I don’t think it’s just the goal scoring or just the def the defending. I think it’s a little bit of everything. And um it’s this league is it is that way. It’s that tight, right? like when you don’t when you don’t do the little things right then your game looks awful and but when you do them um you can also look great. So I think that that’s something that um the little details have have shifted our game in a big way and it will be Steuart Skinner’s crease tonight as we take a look at tonight’s lineup as number 74 is fresh off victory number 10. He turned aside 19 shots against the Jets on Saturday and we see no changes in front of him as Echome and Bousard continue to lead the defense pairing. Bousard has picked up 10 points in his last six games, six of which have come at even strength. And up front, it’s pretty much take your pick with the consistent offensive contributions as of late, including Matt Seavoy, who has three goals in his last two games on that line with Leon Dryidle and Vasili Pon Coulson. Now, of course, Seavoy was the ninth overall pick of the Buffalo Sabres three years ago as he has helped the Oilers to a 73-2 record at Rogers Place. Meanwhile, the Sabres, they’re 29 and2 on the road this season. For this TV, I’m Tony Brer.
The Oilers look to maintain their rhythm as they host the Sabres on Tuesday night. Tony Brar previews the matchup from Rogers Place.
