If you think you need an elite center, it’s worth remembering that players like that rarely become available…

  1. “Elite” lol. 40 million for a center who can’t protect the rim. There’s a reason he hasn’t been traded already.

  2. Pretty sure our front office prefers a defensive center. There’s a reason we took kalkgod

  3. I’d hardly call Saboner “elite”. He’s good no doubt, but not exactly worth the ticket, imo.

  4. Sabonis would be a bad fit on a team with an already questionable defense.

Even though I am in favor of moving off of Lamelo, I wouldn’t take that swap unless they sent draft capital out, but even then idk if it would be a good idea.

I cant imagine the Kings doing that given the fact they are looking to start over but it is worth considering if they would.

  5. just going to leave this here

    >they also needed a big man who could buy into defending at an elite level each night, and Williams has been that guy and more. Not since Deandre Ayton in 2021 have the Suns had a center they could trust so much in big moments to deliver.

Players in Phoenix Suns history to average 12+ points on 68% True Shooting or better in their first 15 games of a season:

    ☄️ Mark Williams (2025-26)

    ☄️ Steve Nash (2007-08)

  6. He would legit fit great next to Moose but otherwise it wouldn’t make sense for us to get him honestly
