  1. Rogers has the funds to increase this advantage.

They could outspend almost every team for additions like more Trajekt machines, including loading them on trucks that travel to away games.

  2. Hopefully this means that more than just Cease has whispered in his ear telling him to get a deal with the Jays…

  3. Just keep in mind that Scott Boras says anything if he thinks it will maximize player value.

  4. Interesting.

I wonder if this would work with giant corporations, that these billionaires own.

Listen to your employees and more people want to work for you! Genius!

  5. Been screaming at the sky that this is the kinda shit the Leafs and Raptors need to be leveraging their money towards as very rich teams in salary capped leagues, nobody wearing a Leafs crest (or married to one) should remember what still water tastes like, but that’s the difference between MLSE ownership versus being directly owned by the Rogers family unfortunately

  6. Living in Toronto when you are rich is awesome. Also, baseball players don’t have to deal with winter or even rain delays. I have no clue what the teams amenities are, but apparently they are great. So now that the Jays went to the World Series, Toronto may finally be turning the page on acquiring free agents.

  7. A straightforward quote which didn’t require a completion of the Boras language duolingo unit??

This is really incredible from the Jays perspective and is yet another feather in a well-adorned cap for this organization’s work behind the scenes with the players and families

  8. I remember when he refused to work with the blue jays cause the jays had a 5 year maxium contract rule (or something along those lines)

  9. This makes me smile big. Gotta take care of our boys. I love cheering for such a legitimate and well run organization, I also love being the underdogs.

  10. I hope everyone realizes the only reason he’s saying this is to use us to try and drive up prices.
