One of the most famous Croatian singers called Oliver Dragojevic has an album with a cover photo where he wears forty niners hat. Its small detail but interesting for sure, because NFL isnt that big in Balkans let alone Croatia. Was he a fan? I assume we will never know. But go forty niners!

These album cover photos are not just random, candid shots. They have to prepare for these photo shootings and seeing that he’s sporting a sports team cap (Murican, at that) on his album cover would be most probable he was a 49ERS fan.
They keep it classy in Croatia
Looks like [he toured SJ in 2014.](https://sanjosetheaters.org/event/oliver-dragojevic-dupini/)
So, maybe he was in the hype of Harbs and the NFCCG?
I thought that was Steven Spielberg
Ok now I’m down a rabbit hole!
[Album cover is from 1997](https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/381234054690), putting it squarely in Seifert / Young era.
There is a big Croatian and Bosnian community in NorCal! Especially in SF and SJ
When I used to live in France, people used to rock Dolphins and Raiders gear because of the logos and how popular the names were. Redskins was a close third.
Niners, Patriots, Cowboys, Packers were not even a thing in the 90s and early 00s.
Maybe it’s a discarded “championship” item. Like the back says “Superbowl XLVII Champions”
Dusa mi je more is Croatian for bang bang Niner gang.
I’d guess it was a cool Americana thing, but hopefully he was a fan
Better question, where can I get that hat?
