It’s kind of baffling how consistently it takes the offense a full quarter of each half to get anything going
All my homies hate the 3rd quarter
Offense is top 10 in 4th quarter scoring. Last year they were bottom 5.
Defense allowing just 3 points in the 4th quarter on average is nuts.
Another credit to our defense imo. When the opponents offense can’t stay on the field, their defense gets worn down over time. So our offense is more likely to breakthrough later in the game.
The one thing I have to say about our play calling is we play to our defense. We constantly take forever between plays and just give the defense time. We chose to kill time as much as possible and limit the total drives in the game.
I don’t have the stats but I have a good feeling in general we average less total drives than most because of those mindset.
Looks like we finish games strong. Thats a great trait.
When the opposing pass rush where’s don, we’re finally an average offense smh
That 4th quarter stat for the defense is actually insane. Talk about putting the clamps and pressure on opposing teams offense when it matters most
