Love Nickeil. Opportunity without Trae Young makes a huge difference here
out east. maybe you forgot last years playoffs but i have not.
Again we all love NAW, hes an awesome player to have on your team, he just plays hard, knows his role and does it well. However, we’ve watched him in the playoffs be one of the worst players out there for all 16 teams in consecutive years.
Stats without context have very little value.
Also, she’s gone, bro. Let her go.
What are the minutes comparisons?
Donte Cheeks
When you get the opportunity to play the scoring role anyone can score in this league. Naz and Jaden would be putting up 25+ on some teams when given the keys to the offense. Ron Harper averaged 20+ for the Clippers year after year, and put up 7 points per game for the Bulls and told to play defense on Jordan’s teams. Porter Jr is putting up 25.8 for Brooklyn in that scoring role, and people were calling him the worst contract in the league not too long ago.
NAW just gets the ball more now lol
I know lots of fans don’t like this type of discussion. But I find it interesting to look back on.
Really looking like a mistake letting NAW go. An excusable mistake, but still a mistake. Especially if this team is going to try to endure with no point guard. NAW is way better than Donte in that role.
Should Connelly have prioritized NAW over Naz?
Could Connelly have traded DDV for draft picks and cleared enough cap space to resign NAW?
