🚨 This Changes EVERYTHING for the New York Jets …

This right here changes everything for the New York Jets moving forward. They beat the Atlanta Falcons yesterday. They have won three of the last five games and the performance from Adonai Mitchell, eight catches, over 100 yards and a touchdown yesterday was off the charts. In this video, we’re going to take a deep dive about the truth and everything you need to know about the New York Jets after their victory against the Atlanta Falcons and why there are some promising signs of what we’re seeing from this Jets team after their win against the Falcons and what to look forward to for the remainder of the season. We’re going to get into a lot in this video. So, make sure you guys hit the thumbs up button on your way in. Subscribe to the channel if you’re new here, of course. Excited to take a deep dive into these New York Jets. It feels good to win, baby. It’s not often these Jets can get the taste of victory. And of course, as us fans, we don’t get a good taste of victory often. But hey, I’m going to soak in it as long as we can, baby. Let’s get straight into business. Before I go deeper into it, I do want to let you guys know that I will be at the Jets Dolphins game this Sunday. If you are interested in going to the game, I have a ridiculous cheap price for you guys. We’re doing an AFC East round table event. $100 gets you access to the game with me and TD Finnstalk and field access after the game. Tailgate party, I’ll put the link in the description if you guys are interested in coming to the game. The Jets are debuting their brand new uniform. So, if you are interested in coming to the game this Sunday, I’ll leave that link in the description for you guys to check it out. Now, getting into what I really wanted to talk about in this video is really the overall narrative around these New York Jets. Because at this stage of the season, what really is there to look for as a fan, right? We’re not playing for the playoffs. That’s completely out of the conversation. When you’re starting the season 0 and7, what more is there to do? The Jets decide to trade away Sauce, trade away Carter, trade away Quinnon, make a bunch of trades, blow up a lot of the defense, bring in a lot of assets for next year. And then it’s like, all right, Garrett Wilson’s injured. We bench Justin Fields. It’s feel like a lot of negativity going on. But then all of a sudden, you look up, the Jets are starting to win games. They win three of the last five. two of the losses were against Baltimore and New England that they were competitive in both of those games. And I feel like at this stage of the season, what you want to see as a fan is growth, improvement, and right now that this version of the New York Jets is a completely different version than we saw earlier on in the season. And that’s all that matters, man. That’s why, in my opinion, going into these games as a fan with an open mind, trying to see some victories, trying to see some improvement is everything you want to see. I know some people don’t feel like winning games at this age of the season doesn’t do anything for the future. Doesn’t really do anything for the culture. I personally disagree. Aaron Glenn needs to prove to himself, to his players, to his coaches that he knows what he’s doing. He needs to get a really deep evaluation of the guys on this roster that who does he want to keep moving forward, which guys in the coaching staff does he want to keep? And I think we’re getting a really good crystal idea of who’s going to be sticking around with this football team. But there’s one element of this squad that I am really excited to break down in this video, and that’s the wide receiver room. This is why Tyrod Taylor had to be the quarterback moving forward. It’s nothing about, you know, bashing on Justin Fields. It’s more about what Tyrod Taylor can do. And it’s exactly what we saw against the Falcons. his ability to push the ball down the field, be vertical, have a command of an offense, play with confidence, and give wide receivers like Idonai Mitchell an opportunity to go out there and have a careerhigh 100 plus yards and his first touchdown of his entire NFL career. Really intrigued to see what this Jets team looks like for the rest of the season because I do think that there’s two games in a row that are winnable. Dolphins and Saints and then the Jaguars. They’re a good team right now. They are first place in the AFC South, but hey, you never know what could happen. And these Jets are starting to get some winning ways. And a big thing about this team that I definitely wanted to stress in this video as well is special teams. And I feel like a lot of people don’t still value special teams. You should, if you’re a Jets fan, embrace the special teams unit because let’s not forget what Will McDonald did earlier in the season against the Buccaneers. Almost won the Jets the game if the defense was able to get the stop against Baker Mayfield, of course, which they were unable to do. Blocked field goal return for a touchdown. We saw Kane No return one for a touchdown. Isaiah Williams returned one for a touchdown. We saw we have two special teams player of the week this season alone. Yesterday against the Falcons, you can argue the special teams. Big reason why we won. Isaiah Williams returned. Nick Folk game-winning field goal against the Browns. We won that game because of special teams. Our punter Austin McNamera is an absolute stud. An undrafted free agent punter. This is a phase of football that Aaron Glenn is prioritizing. And Chris Banjo, the special teams coordinator, deserves all the credit in the world. He’s young. He literally retired from the NFL as a player just a few years ago. And we went from having Brent Ber as our special teams coordinator through three coaching staffs. And I was like, “Oh man, I don’t even want to get rid of Brent Boyer cuz he was always solid.” But Aaron Glenn decides to go with the young prodigy of Chris Banjo, a guy that he used to coach over in New Orleans. And now he is coaching up a fantastic special teams unit. Aaron Glenn spoke to the media today and he said something that really took that I really noticed which was Chris Banjo and the special teams coaching staff. They go deep into every single player’s role and really make sure they know their assignments into detail. What are you doing? Whether you are returning a punt, whether you’re the gunner, whether you are trying to, you know, fill your lanes on a kickoff return. Like there’s so much to the special teams unit that I feel like us fans don’t appreciate enough. And the Jets are literally one of the best units in the entire league. And you can win games that way because if special teams is consistent every single game, that is a weapon because we all understand as Jets fans, unfortunately, our offense is never consistent and our defense is never consistent. So the hope is special teams can be that consistent element of this football team and that could be a foundation that this identity of these New York Jets under Aaron Glenn is built around special teams. And then hopefully next year when we get a quarterback, we have all new players coming in. That’s when we can hopefully take a step forward and become a legit squad. But another element of this video that I really wanted to focus on more than anything is AD Mitchell in the wide receiver position because the fact that the Jets took the strength of this secondary on the defense and turn it into a strength on wide receiver is pretty masterful stuff. Darren Muji looked at this roster heading into the season and he’s like, “Okay, what’s a position of weakness? Wide receiver. every Jets fan all off all offseason long. We need wide receiver help. We have nobody next to Garrett Wilson. If Garrett Wilson goes down, we are absolutely doomed. All those things are true. We go into the season looking at that position as a weakness. Corner big position of strength in my eyes. I felt like there’s a lot of depth. Brandon Stevens has actually playing really good football right now. S Gardner entering the season of course love him entering the year. Michael Carter the second we all love. He’s coming off an injury but maybe he’ll play better. But the Jets drafted as REA Thomas and the Jets trade for Brownley. The Jets trade for Jir Taylor who filled in for Brownley. And Daruji’s like, you know what? Let’s turn a position of strength that has so much depth and let’s flip that into some depth and some talent at the wide receiver spot. So let’s trade Michael Carter the second for John Mechy the third. Let’s trade Sauce Gardner for two firsts and AD Mitchell. And now all of a sudden you look at the wide receiver room without Garrett Wilson. It looks great. Can you imagine what it’s going to look like with Garrett Wilson? Because the way that AD Mitchell played against the Falcons, he’s slowly getting better and better and better. He’s learning the playbook. He just got here and he’s also like a baby in the NFL. The guy has no experience in this league. Last year for the Indianapolis Colts as a rookie wasn’t really given a huge workload. This season he had one mistake which could have been a 70 plus yard touchdown, but he of course fumbled the ball at the one yard line and the Colts just gave up on him. They lost all the confidence in him. So, the Jets felt like that’s a guy we need. And now he’s here. And I really do have a lot of high expectations for AD Mitchell in terms of being a legit high upside. Not a number two receiver, but a number one beat next to Garrett Wilson. Like, he legit has the talent and the physical ability and the athleticism and the size to be a legit receiver in this league, man. And the fact that he was able to do that against the Falcons really gives me a lot of confidence. John Mechy obviously had a bad game yesterday. two drops, critical drops on third down. But let’s not forget what he did against the Patriots. And of course against the Ravens, he had four or five catches for a touchdown in each game for 40 to 50 yards a piece. So I like John Mechy in the slot. I like AD Mitchell on the outside and Garrett Wilson being the number one. And then you go into the off season and you have all the cap space in the world to sign the free agent and you have all the draft capital in the world to draft another wide receiver. All of a sudden, folks, we’re going to look at the wide receiver room as a huge strength. And I think that right there changes everything with this Jets football team because what this football team needs more than anything is of course a franchise quarterback. And I think the Jets are setting up the potential new quarterback coming in in the offseason to enter a really good situation. Let’s not forget the offensive line is the only offensive line in the entire NFL who has not shifted anything. AVT went down before week one. They shift Titman the right guard, Meyers the center, and it’s been the same starting five offensive lineman since week number one. and they have been playing really good football as of late. Of course, they’re not perfect. They’re not dominating the NFL, but they are extremely consistent. Okay, Armanu, Olu, Fosu on the bookends. Those guys, I’m really excited to watch them continue to grow. Joe Titman is playing like a legit guard in this league. I think they found a really big piece of Joe Titman at right guard. Hopefully, that is his new home. And then Meyers and Simpson, of course. I mean, we’ll see about the offseason in terms of some shifts they make, but the offensive line has a core. the weapons now all of a sudden have a core. You got Mason Taylor, you got Bree Hall. And I think the reason I wanted to bring all these up to the light and the surface, seeing AD Mitchell go out there and did what he did yesterday, seeing John Mechy did what he did the last two games, having Garrett Wilson still on this team with the idea of adding more pieces to the offseason and Aaron Glenn having this team bought into what he’s preaching. Man, I really feel a shift. And I don’t know if I’m getting ahead of myself, but you look at the context of this season. The Jets are three and nine, a bad record. It’s a lost season. They started 0 and7 and now they’ve won three of the last five games. But when you go back to those seven losses to start off the season and you add context to everything, a loss is a loss, right? You can’t say, well, if this happened, you can’t redo anything. But that game against the Steelers, man, they are an Xavier Gibson fumble away if he did not fumble that rock to winning that game against the Bucks. that crazy comeback. They are one stop against Baker Mayfield away from winning that football game. Even against the Panthers, like the Dolphins game, too. All these games were so close and now I think these version of the Jets today compared to where they were early on the season, they win those games and they’re learning how to win in the fourth quarter. You’re seeing Bree Hall take on a new role in the clutch. Whether it’s being a decoy like he was against the Falcons or being the guy in the fourth quarter to take over the game like he did against the Bengals like he did against the Cleveland Browns. I really do believe that they are learning a lot of great things. And the reason why seeing this football team go out there and fight and play with energy, play with confidence is important because we need to see growth, man. Like you want to go in the offseason with all this draft ammo and all the cab space without having any level of confidence in this regime? That’s not me, bro. I want to go into the offseason believing Aaron Glenn knows what he’s doing. Believing there’s something with Tanner Angstrand that we believe he can develop a quarterback. Having a special teams coordinator ace in Chris Banjo. Steve Wilks still got to prove that he knows what he’s doing at defense. Very inconsistent. So I think what we’re seeing right now from this Jets football team as a collective in his last few weeks, it’s been pretty impressive, man. And I think Tyrod Taylor deserves a lot of credit because he’s out there taking hits, making plays, looking like he’s 28, 29 years old, man. He’s moving around like he’s a young buck, but he’s up there in age and you can’t even tell. And it’s just a really fun thing to see. And another thing you have to bring up here, the two players that have replaced the guys that we traded away, S Gardner and Quinnon Williams, all of a sudden the two guys that’s fill in their shoes are playing good football. Aar Thomas filling in for Sauce. He’s not an allp pro, but he’s a solid football player for a rookie, and he’s only going to get better and better. That’s fantastic to see. He made a big-time open field tackle on third and one to get a stop yesterday against the Falcons. That’s a play that you absolutely love to see Oarier Thomas make. And then you have Jawan Briggs filling in for Quinnon Williams. He’s becoming a legit starting defensive tackle that like, wait, this guy is a legit monster stopping the run, getting to the quarterback. Like Jawan Briggs is one of those players that Darren Muji brought in. And let me remind you guys, Darren Muji brought both of those guys in. Those are not guys that Joe Douglas brought in. That’s Muji and his staff recognizing the type of players that fits Aaron Glenn’s system of recognizing Joan Briggs from a scouting department, trading for him, and then drafting Aaria Thomas. That’s why the Jets felt comfortable trading away Sauce and trading away Quinn, not just because of the draft capital they’re getting, of course, but the players that’s going to be filling in for them this season and hopefully beyond. So, I think that’s a lot of good things to talk about. And I think Darren Muji has done a heck of a job so far as the Jets general manager. We talked about it in a video a few weeks ago on the channel that you know what Daruji has done in terms of bringing in all these brand new players from trades, not waiting for the offseason to make moves. He’s very proactive in season. Trading for Phillips, trading for Briggs, trading for Brownley, trading for even just Taylor, trading for John Mechi. I mean, AD Mitchell, it’s absolutely ridiculous what Mucci has done to bring in these new guys in the middle of the season. And now, of course, it’s past the trade deadline. So, the Jets are not going to be making a lot of new moves right now. But when the offseason begins, I’m telling you, there’s going to be a lot more roster decisions coming. I promise you that. So, that’s really my thoughts about everything after the Jets win against the Falcons. And I think that it’s an exciting time for us to see the shift, slow shift. And there’s no denying if you cannot admit that these Jets look different than when they did in the early part of the season, I don’t know what to tell you. And if you watched my content all throughout the summer and in training camp, I said this so many times. It’s going to get ugly before it gets pretty. And boy was it ugly to start off the season. Starting to get a little pretty right now. Now, the question is, will that get prettier and prettier as the season goes on? I sure hope so. Let me know your thoughts in the comments of this video. 1. Yes sir Richie! I told you Jasir was gonna shine out and he made a big time play for us he is only gonna get better under Aaron Glenn so excited to see how he continues to excell at his game.

  2. Matt O said it best "fk your tank!"

I want to see the team build chemistry and learn to win. For all we know, our WR room is more set than we realize. Check all the boxes we need before the draft and go in with a full perspective.

  3. I've always seen something in Mitchell that I liked. I was glad when I heard that the Jets insisted that he be included in the sauce trade. He is going to turn out to be a steal. Watch!

  4. Most fans are one way thinkers, they think for themselves and want the tank, but in reality winning and establishing that culture early on gives us a better winning chance for the new guys coming in. We can trade up for a Qb

  5. This team is miles ahead of where they were week 1. Tyrod is definitely giving us the best chance to evaluate the WR room. Mougey has made some great moves both before and during the season. Excited to see how this team keeps evolving. ✈

  6. we done great with our trades, getting two wideouts, and yes if we add one, we can be elite, but this also sets up our team up to draft all other postiosn other then wideout, and build our defense solid, and we can always attack wideouts in 2027.
