Texas Rangers listening to Corey Seager trade offers from Red Sox, Yankees, Braves
With the Rangers crying poor this off seasonason, some teams are asking about the trade for Cory Seager. The Rangers haven’t said no yet, but why? You are Locked On Rangers, your daily Texas Rangers podcast, part of the Locked On podcast network. your team every day. You are locked on the Texas Rangers, the first and best daily Rangers podcast. Now, on today’s show, I’m talking about the Rangers engaging in trade talks about Cory Seager, which teams are interested, why this seems like an astronomically stupid idea, and a little bit more about what’s going on at these winner meetings. But before we get into all of that, today’s episode is brought to you by FanDuel. If you want to be right in the middle of the action this season, visit fanuel.com and place your NFL live bets all season long. Now, some reports came out last night that the Boston Red Sox are among teams asking the Texas Rangers, “Hey, hey, you see that guy Cory Seager? Can we have him? Can we have him? Pretty please. Can we have him?” And the Rangers, although they have engaged in these trade discussions, they have not outright said no. They have also not said yes. They are firmly in the middle ground of hey if we were to trade Corey Seager this this is what it would take. And so far those trade talks are not ongoing. The Boston Red Sox are not the only team to check in on Cory Seager. There have also been the New York Yankees who I still don’t understand why they didn’t try and sign him back when Cory Seager was a free agent uh before the 2022 season. Uh there are also the Atlanta Braves who have had an offensive black hole at shortstop for the last couple years, at least last year, and then really a little bit in 2024 as well. They’ve got some money to spend, but they they have also checked in on Corey Seager. And according to these sources, according to these reports, the asking price has been very high. The Rangers have seemed very comfortable to hang on to Corey Seager. Now, why is that? Because Corey Seager’s freaking amazing. Cory Seager is exceptional. And this team’s offense sucked last year. It was awful. And Corey Seager was the lone Ranger who could actually hit consistently pretty much all season long. He was the Rangers by best hitter by far. And he is still incredible. And if any of you are seriously engaging, oh, this guy’s overpaid. Oh, this guy only played blah blah blah games. If if you are trying to say Cory Seager is not worth that contract, then you are not a person who is serious about baseball, who is worth engaging in discussion, you are not someone who likes the Texas Rangers. You you just can’t be. If you watch what Cory Ziger did in that 2023 run, if you watch Cory Seager play every single day, you know how incredibly talented this guy is. He just put up a six war season in 102 games. That’s unbelievable. That is unbelievable. This guy is unbelievably talented. He is one of the five best hitters on the planet and he is honestly one of the five to 10 best defensive shorts stops as well. This guy was exceptional defensively last year. This guy does not make errors. He does not bobble routine plays. He gets every single routine play. He is a vacuum over there at Shortstop. And while he’s not going to make some of those Elvis Andrews highlight reel defensive plays, he’s not And Simmons. He’s not going to be, you know, doing all of that, he’s not going to be the best defensive shortstop in the league. He’s still a really darn good one while being one of the best hitters in baseball. This guy is obscenely talented. and trading away your entire half billion dollar middle infill, trading away your World Series MVP barely two years after he won it and instead of him retiring as a Texas Ranger, having a statue, having his jersey number retired, all those accolades, you trade him off because he’s making a little bit of money and we don’t we don’t really like that. We’d rather have a cheap team. We’d rather have a more coste effective team as a fan. Why is that your mentality? Let me hold your face while I say this to you. It’s not your money. It’s not your money. It’s just not your money. And fans caring so much about the dollar contract value of the best players on the team of is he really worth this amount of money? Yeah, I’d rather have somebody who’s, you know, pretty significantly worse but making obscenely less money because it’s more value per dollar. Wh why is that the way our mind works as fans to get the most value per dollar? Who cares about the dollars? Corey Seager is freaking awesome and he is a Texas Ranger and he will be for many many years to come and he should be because while GMs should not entirely make their moves based on fan sentiment. They they should not. That is not a good way to conduct business as a general manager, as a POBO, a as a person in charge of making baseball operations decisions. That’s not wise. But completely ignoring them, going the exact opposite direction is also equally unwise. Because in a baseball ccentric universe where you take all the fan sentiment out, you take everything out, there is a world in which that might make sense. If you can get a massive, incredible trade package for Cory Seager baseball-wise, that might be a better value in some world that is not the real world. Because the reality is, if you trade away all these guys who are recognizable, all these guys who are good, all these guys who fans love, you will lose the support of the team. If you trade away yet another superstar from a DFW team, all of those fans who are fans of DFW ccentric teams will collectively go into psychosis. Myself at the forefront because if I have to lose Luca Donic, Micah Parsons, and Corey Seager within the same calendar year, I will become the most insane person who has ever lived. What would be next? Mir hasten traded away because the stars said that’s a little bit more money. Paige Becker is being traded away because the wings said h we actually we don’t like being good. The FC Dallas trading away their best player because they got too expensive. Actually, I don’t even know who FC Dallas’s best player is because they literally always do that. So that would still be kind of par for the course for them. But still, you cannot trade away your franchise icon. The Rangers did not consider trading away Adrien Beltree even in 2017 when he was a little bit past his prime and the Rangers were not necessarily in contention. They did not do that. They did not trade away Pudge Rodriguez in his prime because the Rangers, you know, weren’t going to be able to afford to pay him. They they they did not do that just to save a little bit of extra bucks. They did do that to Alex Rodriguez, but you know, that’s that’s a completely different story. Alex Rodriguez did not hit a high drive to make it tied in game one of the World Series of the first ever championship in Texas Ranger franchise history. He did not do that. Cory Seager did. And after gutting this team of so many World Series heroes, Adulus Garcia, Josh Spores, Jonah to an extent, Marcus Simeon, you cannot keep trading away these franchise icons and expect loyalty from your fan base. Loyalty goes both ways. A lot of fans are very very very loyal. The fact that you have so many dedicated Texas Rangers fans after such after such a long time a profound mediocrity for the vast majority of this franchise’s history. They have me been mediocre or bad or irrelevant. They just have been. Recently they have been very relevant. had a nice relevant stretch from 2010 2016 where they made the postseason basically every year. Made the World Series twice and then had some really disappointing years in 2015 and 16 where they got knocked out by the Blue Jays. But they were relevant and they were good. And then from 2017 to 2022 they were boring, irrelevant, bad, not worth watching or caring about. and 2023 made them worth watching and caring about because you had guys like Cory Seager, like Adul Garcia, like Marcus Simeon, like Nathan Eavaldi on your team. And the fact that this is even under consideration is just wild. The fact that that Chris Young isn’t flat out coming out and saying, “We’re not trading away Cory Seager. He is here. He is a Texas Ranger for life. We will not do that.” is a huge mistake on his part. But if the Rangers did entertrade a Cory Seager trade from any of these three teams, what would they even get? Talk about that and more right after this. This show is brought to you by FanDuel. NFL Sundays move fast. One big bite and suddenly everything feels different. Shout out to making locked on manage your first listen every single day on tomorrow show will be back and talking about the rule five draft about the end of these winter meetings. They are slowly slowing down and uh hopefully there won’t be any big breaking news happening while I am recording this episode. Uh it doesn’t seem like there is. is going to be checking at least at the break every single segment, but we’ll be back for tomorrow’s show talking about what the Rangers did in the rule five draft and uh yeah, what why they should hopefully have something significant happening in that rule five draft. But if the Rangers did get a trade for Corey Seager, it has to start with the Boston Red Sox. I mean, the the equivalent Boston Red Sox fans, if you are listening to this, it would be the equivalent of the Boston Red Sox trading away I I don’t even know, Manny Ramirez in 2006, two years after winning that curse breaking title in 2004. Like, that’s kind of the equivalent there. Maybe it’d be trading away David Ortiz. I mean, it’s it’s kind of that equivalent. It is just heartbreaking. It would be franchisebreaking. It would be fandom breaking for a whole lot of people that would just straight up pronounce their fandom. I I really do think that would be happening on mass. And I think I might get three listeners today because there would not be very many Rangers fans left if the Texas Rangers traded away Cory Seeker. But if the Rangers did, if they did, the prospect package has to start with Rowan Anthony from the Boston Red Sox. And I’m starting with the Boston Red Sox because truly there there is nothing in the Yankees farm system on their big league team anywhere in their era that is even worth a starting package for Cory Seager. There’s just not anything in the Yankee system that’s worth it. They do not have a a top farm system. They not have a whole bunch of top 100 prospects. Like maybe it’s Cam Schlitler if you feel really good about that, but then what are you doing to replace that Cory Crawford? You’re just you’re just not finding anything anywhere near the equivalent for a New York Yankees trade. For the Boston Red Sox, there are some guys. Roman Anthony is truly an incredible player, a transcendent talent, and he did just sign a a big extension. So, it’s not even like he is pre-arbitration. So, like there there is a lot of value there. Also, Rowan Anthony is probably one of the top trade assets in baseball just from his age, from his, you know, production standpoint already. I mean, a three war season in just 71 games. I mean, an 859 OPS as a 21-year-old, that’s outstanding. That’s not somebody you should trade for Cory Seager. And I love Cory Seager. I think he’s one of the best players in baseball. But if you’re the you’re the Boston Red Sox, Rowan Anthony is not someone you should trade, but the Rangers absolutely would be asking. For all of you crying, oh, let’s get Jiren Durant. Jiren Durant is not anywhere near the player Cory Seager is. He is not anywhere close to that. He is a guy whose best tool is his speed and he’s ending entering his age 29 season. That speed is already declining. That is not a valuable comp a valuable return piece for Cory Seager. You’d have to probably start with him though because I don’t think Roman Anthony would be included in a trade. And if Roman Anthony is not included, then you just don’t do the deal. Maybe Connelly Early, the 23-year-old left-handed, I guess soon to be 24y old left-handed starting pitcher who was exceptional for the Boston Red Sox last year. Four starts, a 233 erra in 19 innings and 13 and a half cs per nine with under two blocks per nine. That that’s interesting. That’s definitely a good piece. But the Rangers, the Boston Red Sox aren’t going to include all of those young pieces. They still have other guys. They no longer have Von Gisham who they got in that trade. That was a disaster for Chris Sale. They still have, you know, young guys like Sedan Raphaela who might be interesting. Christian Campbell who I’m way more out on than I was at the start of this season. He looked incredible to start the year and then just did not come anywhere close to that at this point in the year. Maybe there’s some other guys there that I’m forgetting. Maybe Carlos Narvas gets included in a deal. I don’t I just don’t see the Red Sox including the pieces that they need to for it to be worth it. And don’t even start it on the on the Braves. Their system is not their form system is not very good. They do not have a whole lot of major league talent that they the Rangers would be, you know, asking about. They have some, but it just doesn’t make any sense at all for the Rangers to move Cory Seager. And it doesn’t made sense for these teams to offer the astronomical package that the Rangers are asking for. But the fact that they are even asking for a package and not just flat out saying no, we’re not trading Corey Seager is a huge misstep by Chris Young. Now, there have been some other things happening in the winter meetings. I talked about it on yesterday’s show saying nothing is happening. Nothing’s happening. Nothing is happening at all. And then as soon as I pressed the submit podcast, post podcast button, of course, all the news starts rolling in. Kyle Schwarber, the biggest best bet on this market goes back to Philadelphia. A likely likely outcome. Five years, $150 million. There were other teams that matched those five years. I believe the Cincinnati Reds were one of the teams that matched the five-year offer. Pirates were all the way up to four years 100 plus million, which is just buou bucks for the Pittsburgh Pirates, who have never offered anybody more than $40 million. in a contract ever. Baltimore Orioles apparently also were willing to go five plus years, but Philly loves Kyle Schwarber. Kyle Schwarber loves Philly and for 5 years, $150 million, he is back there. Maybe that means a lot of these bats will start to come off the market or at least the talks will start to heat up. We have not seen any big bats sign since Kyle Schwarber or even really any medium bats sign since Kyle Schwarber signed yesterday morning afternoon mid late afternoon yesterday. So maybe that was a load of baloney. Maybe we’re not actually going to see all that much movement. And the last I checked there’s been no passing bombs while I’ve been recording this episode. So I don’t I don’t think that that market is moving as fast as I was hoping it would move. I talked about it on yesterday’s show. cluster only saying most execs believe a lot of these free agent bats, a lot of these just free agents in general will be slow moving. It will be a long drawn out winter of teams trying to wait out these guys to sign more team favorable deals and guys waiting for some other team to pounce on the market and offer them the kind of contract that they’re looking for. A guy who also signed a big deal right after I published yesterday’s episode. Edwin Diaz. Once again, the Dodgers signing the best bullpen arm on the market. Two straight years. Actually, last year they signed the number one and I’d say number two best relief options. And neither of them really worked out. They signed Tanner Scott to a four-year $60 million deal. That was awful for most of this season. I think Scott will be better this year. They signed Curry Yates to a one-year $18 million deal. Yates was hurt and bad. Maybe the Rangers go and say, “Hey, you want to you want to try and rebuild that value again?” and then go sign another one-year $18 million deal with the Dodgers in 20 ahead of the 2027 season. I I don’t know exactly where that’s going to go, but Edwin Diaz signed a three-year $69 million deal with those Los Angeles Dodgers. A nice amount of money for Edwin Diaz, who opted out of two years remaining. The most average annual value on any contract for a closer ever. He is still a little bit on the older side, but still exceptional. still the best closer on this market. One of, if not the best closers in the game last year. I think Araldis Chapman really nudged him out a little bit. I don’t know if Araldis Chapman is again going to remember how to never walk, guys, because that has never been his thing. And I think last year was kind of a little bit of a fluke, but Edund Diaz has been exceptional lately. The Mets tried to get a little cute with their contract offer. I didn’t think that the Dodgers would be able to beat the money, or at least wouldn’t beat it by much. Edwin Diaz ju I thought was for sure going to go back to the New York Mets. If not not opting out, then at least resigning with the Mets, especially even after they signed Devin Williams. I thought, “All right, that’s a nice eighth inning piece to go get ahead of Edwin Diaz.” But the Mets offered $3 million less and they also had uh not significant deferrals, but at least some deferrals in there, which Steve Cohen, why are you crying broke? Why are you crying broke? one of the 50 richest people on the planet. If even Edwin Diaz, if even the New York Mets and Steve Cohen are crying poor, why are the Dodgers the only team not doing that? Why are the Dodgers the only team who is saying, “Yeah, we I guess, oh, that guy’s worth about that much money. Okay, let’s go ahead and give him that. Maybe it will work. Maybe it won’t work.” But they are employing the Texas Rangers strategy from before the 2022 season, the 2021 offseason of hey, let’s go really 2021 offseason, 2022 offseason as well, before that championship of saying, hey, if everybody else is going to cry poor, if everybody else is going to pretend that they’re broke and not pay these players what they’re worth, let’s go get these best players in free agency and pay them what they’re worth. like Corey Seager, like Marcus Simeon, like Jacob Grom, like Nathan Eioaldi, and say, “Okay, if nobody else wants these guys, nobody else wants to pay these guys what they’re worth, some of them probably won’t work out, but some of them will, and some of them will be freaking awesome. Some of them might help us win our first championship.” And they did. Not much after the Rangers signed them. It was very, very quick that these guys were exceptional. And the Rangers are still the last team to win a World Series, not named the Los Angeles Dodgers. And so to see the Rangers spending this off seasonason, the last three off seasons, crying poor, going away from what got them their first title is just absolutely incredibly maddening. Especially when the team that has won the last two titles has taken that exact same strategy and won championships with it. If crying poor won’t get you a championship and paying players sometimes will, I don’t know why 29 teams in Major League Baseball are all saying, “Eh, we’re good.” This show is brought to you by Game Time. The World Cup is coming back to North America for the first time since 1994. And with 48 teams for the first time ever, it’s going to be massive. Now, there was something also significant happening in yesterday’s winter meetings. It wasn’t just Kyle Schwarber signing a big old deal for a mid30s DH. That is just a very very big deal. But I think Kyle Schwarber is absolutely worth it. Wasn’t just Edwin Diaz signing that deal. It wasn’t just rumors swirling about the Rangers possibly per chance maybe considering trading Cory Seager. The MLB draft lottery happened. The Rangers unfortunately did not move up in this draft lottery. They actually moved down and the Rangers are now picking 16th in this draft, just a couple spots below where their record normally would have had them. There were a few teams that moved up. Kansas City moved up. Uh the Twins were about where you would expect them to be. The White Sox will have the number one pick. The Tampa Bay Rays the number two pick, Twins three, Giants four, Pirates five, Royals six. The Rockies were ineligible to jump up in the draft lottery. Same with the Nationals and the Angels because they are teams that are not doing well, that are not adding to the pile financially. They are taking away from the pile and you cannot be in the lottery, win the lottery multiple years. The Colorado Rockets had the number one pick last year. Actually, no, they had the number two pick last year. The Nationals had the number one pick last year and the Angels, well, they are just a bit of a mess. So, they could not be eligible for that first overall pick. The Rangers had about a 1.3% chance to win the draft lottery. Alas, they did not. They are still picking ahead of the Astros, right ahead of the Astros at 17. But 16, fine. Not going to be all that much money in this draft. There are still going to be some local boys. I talked about them, I believe, on last week’s show about which players are available that are around the area. The top prep player in this draft class is a shortstop for Fort Worth Christian. We’ll see if the Rangers fall all the way from the number two projected pick in this draft 216. I don’t see that happening at all, but there are some local kids at, you know, TCU, at Texas A&M. There are another couple of players at local DFW high schools who maybe the Rangers go and take a snag at. But that was the biggest news outside of those two massive signings yesterday’s episode or in yesterday’s edition of the winter meetings. Today’s winter meetings will conclude with the rule five draft. The Rangers are looking at targeting a catcher possibly in the rule five draft, which just the rule five draft is is an interesting thing. It is is one of the more inside baseball processes in Major League Baseball. One of the hardest to understand, one of the most complicated. And usually it’s not it doesn’t matter all that much. There have not been that many super successful rule five picks, not only in, you know, Rangers history, but also in MLB history. It’s just not something that usually makes a big impact. If if the Rangers had only gotten a catcher like, you know, Liam Hicks, if only they could have gotten their hands on someone like him, who who had a pretty good season for the Miami Marlins last year, Liam Hicks, who the Rangers drafted and developed and then traded away at mid-season in 2024 and then had a really solid season with the Miami Marlins this year. Not something that I expected, not something the Rangers expected, but alas, that was the case this year. And I think that banking on getting a catcher in the rule five draft is just is just not it’s not wise. They also don’t have a whole lot of other options. So maybe it’s their best path forward. I just I don’t think it’s the smartest use of the rule five drafting going and getting somebody. The Rangers have been kind of passive of getting really anybody the last couple years that have made any kind of impact whatsoever. So sure, take a flyer on a catcher. Why not? There’s just not that many options to improve on catcher. The Rangers have said that they are open to Kyle Gashoka splitting duties or taking the vast majority of the games at catcher, which I think he should. He was Rangers best catcher last year by far. And I’m surprised that Jonah started as many games as he did. But Higgy is a little bit on the older side. He is in entering his late 30s. He is in his mid30s right now. He is heading very quickly towards his late 30s, but he was at least an average offensive player last year as a catcher. That’s a hard thing to do. So, I I I truly don’t know what they do at catcher, but they don’t have a whole lot of good options, but Jonah was not really even a a decent option of the bad options that the Rangers had. Now, the World Baseball Classic is happening this coming spring. It is happening in March. I’m not exactly sure why it’s not four years after the last one. I think part of that has to do with the Olympics happening and possibly baseball being on the in the Olympics this year or I guess in 2026 in Los Angeles. I am very excited for that. We’ll see how many major league players actually get to play baseball in the Olympics. I would really really love it especially since it is in the United States. They wouldn’t have to travel internationally. Um that would be really sick. But the World Baseball Classic rosters have started to unfold to started to metriculate out there. Right now, the Rangers don’t have anybody on any WBC rosters. If they did have anybody on WBC roster, we’ll talk about who they will have in just a second, but it would only be team USA. I don’t I don’t see anybody else on the Rangers making it for another team basically because the entirety of the Rangers roster is, you know, 80% American. And I don’t think Robert Garcia is going to sneak into the World Baseball Classic roster um for he’s also born in in America in in uh California in Monteeka, California to be specific. I for a second thought he was an international snee. Alas, that is not the case. But the Rangers don’t really have anybody that is close to the team uh Dominican. I don’t think Adulus Garcia is going to be on team Cuba, but he’s also not even a member of the Texas Rangers. I don’t think Zeke Durant is going to sneak on to the Dominican team roster. Um, but that is just a guesstimation. I do not have any insight information on that. But right now, the Dominican roster, it is Juan Stoodto in left field, Ellie de la Cruz at shorttop, Manny Machado at third base, Heraldo Purdomo at second base, Fernando Tatis Jr. in right field, Junior Camroero at DH, Edwin Usetta in the bullpen. And Team USA so far looks pretty darn stacked, pretty close to what I would say is the best possible outcome at least for all these guys. I think they should all be starting. I don’t think there’s anybody that much better than any of these guys. Corbin Carroll in left field, Pet Crow Armstrong of the Cubs in center field, and Aaron Judge patrolling right field. Love that. Love Aaron Judge being on team USA. The Rangers really could have used him last time. Kyle Schworber at DH. Cal Raleigh and Will Smith. The two best catchers in baseball. Both of them on Team USA in the starting rotation. Paul freaking Skins for Team USA is an incredible get. Last year, last time that the Rangers, last time Team USA did this, they did not have really the best and the brightest in terms of the starting pitching. Mel Kelly was kind of the best pitcher that Team USA had. And no shade to me Kelly, but if that’s your Team USA game one starter, that’s not exactly great. Especially when Team Japan was rolling out guys like I I don’t I don’t know if you’ve heard of this guy. He plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers. His name is Show Otani. He’s he’s pretty darn good. And there were many many other incredibly talented players. I think Yamamoto was also on that team. Roki Sasaki was also on that team as I believe a 21-year-old. He was incredibly young for team. Samurai U Darvish was also there and just the US did not have all that many great pitchers this year. They have pole schemes. They have Matthew Boyd in the bullpen right now. They have Garrett Whitlock. There is nobody who is a first baseman currently on the roster. I am surprised that Bryce Harper hasn’t already said yes. He was a part of the last team. They need him. They very much need him. And I think they need Corey Seager as well. Cory Seager is one of the best players in the world. He is in the in one of the best players on planet Earth. And whether you put him at, you know, first base, maybe you put him at DH, put Kyle Schwarber at first base, maybe you move the infield around, Bryce Dang is the second baseman right now, Gunnar Henderson at third base, Bobby Whit Jr. at shortstop. I think that’s the right alignment for everybody. I think that is the best American second baseman. Marcus Simeon, I would have loved to seen him uh play a little bit more last time out, but he really did not play all that much. I can’t even remember if Cory Seager was on that WBC roster in 2023. I don’t think that he was. Nathan Yavaldi had signed up to be a part of Team USA, but then once the Rangers signed him, I think the Rangers pulled back and said, “Eh, maybe you don’t do that. Maybe don’t do that heading into 2023.” It worked out for the Rangers of not having anybody super involved with the WBC so nobody was hurt so they could go and win their first championship ever. But some of these guys, I think, should be on this roster. I think Jacob Grom should get a look. I think Nathan Yaldi um should at least get a look. They should at least get a call. And the it should be up to them and the Rangers to decide, okay, do we actually want to go about this because it happens in March. So, it’s not going to be like these guys are completely built up, completely healthy, all that. There’s a lot of risk to pitchers in terms of injuries. And so, that’s why it’s really, really awesome to see Paul skis there. Also, if I were a Pirates fan, I would be kind of terrified, but also excited because this might be the closest Paul Skins gets to actual postseason competition because he is going to be on the Pittsburgh Pirates for at least another three, four years. And uh that that is not exactly a place where you could go and get that postseason competition. I think Wyatt Langford should be at least on the short list for who they are inquiring about of getting, you know, other guys in the outfield. I would maybe put Wyatt Langford in there over PCA because PCA offensively was just nowhere near a great player in the second half. He was incredible in the first half, but just truly awful in the second half. And I think Wyatt Langford would be a good addition to this Team USA roster. I don’t really think there’s anybody else that would be all that close. Seager. Um, yeah, be be close to that. If Jo Peterson was anywhere near what he had been in 2024, in 2025, I’m sure he would be given a call. Um, but other than that, I don’t think there’s going to be all that much Ranger representation, but I would really truly love there to be some more Rangers representation, whether that’s Cory Seer, whether that’s Wyatt Langford, whether that is Nathan Evoli because him in a big game, we have seen how incredibly talented he is. I love Seager. I don’t want him to leave. However: The return for Seager would be significant enough to build this team to compete for a title for more than one year. That’s the difference between trading Luka or Micah and trading Seager. This is a business at the end of the day and if trading Seager makes the rangers compete for longer than if they kept Seager, then it would be worth it.
If they trade Seager I am OUT!
