The Vancouver Canucks nearly acquired Minnesota Wild Center Marco Rossi on the day of the 2025 NHL Draft

And the North Stars were 2nd place to acquire Gretzky. (so where every team not named Edmonton)
This doesn’t make sense. Raty is a center, Guerin hates those.
I’ve maintained this for a while but there is no way Rossi doesn’t get traded this year. The more I see Yurov on the first line, the more I become okay with shipping Rossi out. And before people freak out at me, since Rossi was placed on IR on November 11th, we immediately went on a 7 game win streak.
I’m not saying Rossi isn’t a good player.. I’m saying that he is expendable.
I’m glad that Vancouver didn’t take that trade because even though that’s a decent return for Rossi, I think we can get more.
