Feel like there’s a lot of different directions to go here, but steph definitely needs a good fit as his backcourt partner. preferably someone who can defend, and shoot. you can go with pure offense and go buddy, elite catch & shoot movement shooter that’s a plug-and-play with any lineup. or you could go more stability and go with moody, probably the most versatile choice, lengthy, can guard multiply positions, great catch & shooter. then there is melton who is still a excellent point of attack defender who can also provide some secondary ball handling along with shooting, and then the rookie will who’s extremely stable on both ends and is a excellent cutter & rebounder.

Eventually, Melton as long as he stays healthy.
Starters:
PG: Curry
SG: Moody
SF: Butler
PF: Green
C: Post
Kerr can star Pat, GP2, Podz, Horford, Melton off the bench.
Shut down JK & trade him, Hield + Podz at deadline for something nice(Coby White or Myles Turner please).
I’d also look at convincing Ben Simmons to join on minimum if possible. Just as another vet for insurance
Melton if healthy
Seth.
Melton when he’s fully healthy. He has at least 85% of: the shooting of Buddy, the POA perimeter defense of GP2/moody, the handling of Podz, the cutting and movement of Wil.
The only answer is Melton. Moody is inconsistent and his defense is not the best at the moment.
I’d like
Curry, Melton, Butler, Green and Post as the starting 5
Moody is good too, much more consistent then buddy imo
Easily Melton. Moody is either a 3 or 4.
Steph Curry. Have Pat run the point and put Steph at the 2. Jimmy at the 3. Draymond at the 4. Probably Post at the 5, unless he regresses.
Melton and slot in Will whenever he’s out. Make sense to keep the rotations consistent.
Steph Curry. I think he’s earned his right to start alongside the great Pat Spencer
PG: Melton, SG: Steph. Steph gets double and sometimes triple teamed, a big factor in his team leading turnovers per game. Steph is much more dangerous off-ball: let Melton take the point.
Give me melton at the 2. He’s the best all around sg can give you poa defense and can also shoot 40% from 3.
I want to see this starting five: Steph, Melton, Jimmy, Draymond, Post.
That lineup has a combination of high IQ players, outside shooting, defense and secondary ball handling/playmaking that should see success on both sides of the floor.
You got 2 elite defenders(Jimmy/Dray), 1 great defender(Melton), and 2 good enough defenders(Post/Steph), you have 3 guys you have to guard on the perimeter(Steph/Melt/Post), you have a guy who can punish mismatches(Jimmy) and you have a guy who is good at breaking the paint and kicking out to the open man(Melton).
I think between guys like Buddy, Podz, Horford, GPII, Will Richard, you can get enough quality rotation minutes and good combinations to win a lot of games.
If Pat can keep up his high quality play I think the Warriors could see a multi-player trade happen centered around Kuminga which clears way to convert his deal around the deadline.
Anyone who doesn’t say “Seth Curry” 🍛🍛 here is unserious 😈
Me
It should be melt. But until then Richard. Let the rook get some exp. playing real NBA talent. Get those other bums off the team and keep buddy as a lb facsimile
Ass vs butt
We should be trading for one now for what 4 years? But we went all lacob on Wiseman and Kuminga. Dumb and dumber. Lacob thought he absorbed the knowledge and experience of his initial hires like logo and others. Only to replace with himself and his kids and absolutey fail on almost everything they touched while curry continued to carry the load.. Its always the same arrogance with success that makes egos like Lacob and Kuminga act so asinine. Thing is , it wasn’t there success that they feed the narcissism with. We all know who we all gratitude to. Initially lacob was in that for having the insight to hire pros. That faded with success. It became because of me. Same with Championship kuminga who never showed any ability to do what some fans said. crazy. He was on the bench, didnt stop it from going to his head and whining like no other player undeserving I have ever seen.
Melton
Melton, then maybe Podz/ Pat. And never moody or buddy.
Moody is not confident enough in himself right now. he’s second guessing taking dunks ffs, he needs to be an off the bench guy while we’re dominating a game to really build his confidence up and buddy is trying more but he’s still gonna be inconsistent in his shot, it’s just how his game is.
Podz is best off ball but if everyone is going around him he can catch and shoot. Pat looks like he’s emerging but he’s a pass first player so he would have to be the 1 in this scenario.
meltman
Podz if Steph is healthy
As tendencies and old habits go, Kerr will go mini lineup from time to time.
Give me a lineup of Steph Melt and Pat with any 2 guy and I like our chances.
Never did I imagine, I’d be saying that this mini lineup with 2 bigs can work pretty nice.
Curry should be at the 2 and melton at the 1 for starting guards. Jimmy at the 3.
Melton. Limited minutes until we are confident enough to trust his health. He would be key to a deep playoff run (knock on wood).
Melton but Podz should still get good minutes, he’s solid at the 2.

Melton vs Moody
Melton is the better player, but you’ll get more value out of Moody with the starters than he would with the bench mob. If Moody is working off space on the perimeter thanks to Steph’s gravity and Dray/Jimmy finding him open, I’m confident he’ll be a 40% from 3. His problem is when he has to set up his own shot or having to take a dribble then reload.
Plus, his defense is good enough to protect Steph, but he does gamble a bit on POA and doesn’t have the athleticism and foot speed to recover. That’s survivable when you have guys like Dray and Jimmy smart enough to help behind him, but it’s more of a problem with the second crew where defense connectivity tends to break down further.
Again, Melton is the better player, but Moody benefits more from starting. Plus, Melton has the skill set to lead the bench mob as a shot creator, protecting the ball, and his steady defense.
Melton if we don’t trade for anybody
Kerr sounds like he wants to start Pat along with Steph. Might move Steph to the 2
Melton
Melton
Even though this sub hates him the answer is Podz – he’s the best at playing with Jimmy/Steph for sure. Though I wouldn’t mind us starting Moody at the 3 – The Steph/Podz/Moody/Jimmy/Dray lineup that we ran to end last year was killing teams.
Melton I’d just want to see a bit more out of before commenting, he’s looking good right now but he’s coming off a year of recovery I haven’t seen him play with Steph yet.
Moody
Personally I like:
Steph, Moody, Jimmy, Dray, Post
Melton, Seth, GUI, JK, Horford
Podz, GPII, and TJD rotates in whenever it benefits the lineup
melton or moody. i just want to see some more shooting and defense in the starting lineup, and podz is more suited to be a backup 2 guard
SG position will be the new starter by committee depending on matchup.
I think we ought to preserve Melton from starting and ride the young guns as much as we can until we fight for playoff positioning.
GREEN,Jimmy,Post,Curry,Melton
Back up squad= Pat,buddy,Podz,Richard,Moody easy!!
Strange question, Klay.. oh wait, 2010 are gone 🙁
moody clearly
The obvious answer? Steph lol.
