maybe some some benefit to get a couple of skates in here. Are you uh you feel ready to go here tonight? Yeah, of course. I mean, any you know, I talked about the other day, anytime you get in this league, can’t take it for granted. Uh I’m just really excited. Yeah, it’s going to be an awesome day. Does it feel any different than game 82 last year? I think Zay was, you know, he said earlier this year that, you know, it seemed had a different feel to it just knowing Yeah, probably. Yeah, for sure. Yeah, just middle of the year is way different. Uh, I mean at the end of last year it was like, you know, the boys just got bounced out of the playoffs just out of that race. So, it was a little weird dynamic, but um, this time definitely feels a little bit different for sure. Is it a little extra special given the opponent tonight? I mean, yeah, of course. Like, you know, watching him grow up when I was growing up uh, my whole life, it was it was pretty cool. We had season tickets up until the Joe went down, but uh, yeah, I mean, anytime any game would be cool, but Red Wings for sure. Who was your idol growing up? Uh, Nick Liter. Pretty good. Would you would you do a Would you watch him a lot in terms of, you know, just when you go to a game staring at him and his Yeah, I mean like my family wasn’t the biggest hockey family growing up. I mean, I was the first person to play hockey. We were always basketball, football, baseball. So, I I wouldn’t say I was watching every single day, but like when we would go to games, it was fun for sure. So, who got you into hockey then if your family wasn’t? What turned you on to it? You know, I passed by a rink one day and I just asked what it was. So then I I think I went in that day and just started skating, just open ice and natural. I I believe so. Yeah, that’s what my mom says. I don’t know, maybe she’s, you know, BSing me a little bit, but you never know. Hot laps right out of the gate. Yeah. What can you uh what can you take from game 82 last year in terms of experience and you can take into tonight? I I think just more so offense, just knowing the guys a little bit more. um you know get to know I we went on team dinner at the end of last year so um you know got to chat with some of them make me feel comfortable I think just you know moving pucks quick hard defending and you know those two things are going to be big Okay.
