  1. I don’t get it – McKenna moves from junior to a ‘superior’ league to enhance development against adults.

Lawrence stays in junior and puts up less PPG than McKenna did in his d-1 season and this moves him to the top? How come he isn’t invited to Canada WJ training camp?

I’m not arguing this necessarily, and honestly never heard of this guy until today, I just don’t understand.

  2. I hope we get McKenna or Stenberg. They seem the 2 forwards with the best chance of becoming superstars

  3. Thank goodness we will be drafting in the 10-14 range and not have to worry about drafting elite talent

  4. McKenna- Kane Kuch Ceiling, Huberdeau-esque floor

Verhoeff – Ekblad Levshunov type of prospect

Stenberg – More of a direct complimentary winger than Mckenna, kinda gives off Lucas Raymond / Wyatt Johnston vibes

Lawrence – Suzuki vibes, pretty much just a bigger faster and a little bit more skilled than Reschny.

Belchetz also rocks as well, too many think he’s just a bigger faster power forward, he’s got Brady Tkachuk size but might have some of the best edge work of any forward in the top echelon of the draft.

Point is Flames will be happy with whoever they get if they end up in the top 5. Definitely a drop off with the forwards after Belch

  5. I dont understand how he’s been elevated. Hasn’t he been injured this whole season pretty much?
