Dillon Dube Has Signed a PTO with the St. Louis Blues AHL Affiliate

The last remaining player in the Hockey Canada trial has officially signed a contract to return to professional hockey in North America. Let’s talk about it. I talk hockey every single day. Make my shoe fall so you don’t miss anything. But it has been announced by the St. Louis Blues organization that they have signed Dylan Dubet to an AHL PTO. Upon announcing the signing, the St. Louis Blues released the following statement saying, quote, “The St. Louis Blues has signed Dylan Dubet to a professional try out with their AHL affiliate and following the process set forth by the National Hockey League and its players association upon his reinstatement. This decision follows a comprehensive review of the details of his case and discussions at all levels of our organization. We are confident in the decision to offer the triyout and will provide the necessary support to ensure Dylan contributes positively both on the ice and in the community. We will always hold our players to the highest of standards consistent with the core values of our organization and that will be emphasized as we move forward. Much like when the other players involved in the trial started signing their contracts, this move is being met with a lot of backlash online with a lot of people saying that if you immediately have to release a statement after signing a player, it might not be a good idea to sign them in the first place. Right now, the agreement is just a professional try out with no contract in place.

  1. Hawks get cancelled for not reporting the video coach pressuring the 21 year old rookie but Vegas signs Carter Hart and everyone on the broadcast glazes him for the entire game.. I’ve read and watched just about everything to do with the hockey Canada cases. Something BAD happened at the very least and they pressured the woman to recant her story because “they were about to go pro and make a lot of money and you could ruin their careers!” They don’t deserve to be in the league. Should’ve done the right thing and banned these creeps for life.
