There’s an argument to be made Vladar was the better going in Calgary last season. Yes Wolf’s stats are higher but he was also being spoon-fed lesser competition whereas Vladar was almost exclusively playing either Road games or playoff teams.

The first time Vladar touched ice in Philly was a preseason game with the Bruins. September 24th, 2018, the same day Gritty made his debut as our mascot.

Looks impressive, no doubt. But what is an “unblocked shot attempt “? I’ve played hockey for 60 yrs, I’m old fashioned. What does 0.678% mean? I get the “above expected”, you could do that for almost everything. In my day, “attempted passes on your future wife %…” would mean something. But in hockey, even though beer league caliber is 1% the same as NHL, I’m still stumped.
For some reason his name just being “Dan” is too funny to me. Like he should be going by “Daniel” lol
