NHL Highlights | Kings vs. Kraken – December 10, 2025

One aspect of their play, Alex, that needs to get much better. Back-to-back victories for the Kings for the first time since early November. And we are underway at Climate Pledge Arena. ODC tried to pass. Blocked down by McCann and forced back to the neutral zone. Twoon one. Benz and Everly. Benz moves in. Save by Forsber. He looked behind him, but the puck is in his grasp. battle on the boards and it’s a nice read and coming down on the 211. He looks for the passing option but decides to shoot instead. Tolvin outwed Dunn. He pinches, shoots, ricochets to the corner. Arma is on it. Dumalin connects with Fiala for the exit and now Biffield over the line and he’s checked off the puck by Tolvin knocking Quinton Biffield off the puck. Well, that’s what they need some physicality stepping up. This is where they need to improve upon power play opportunity. It has been anemic this season. Dead last in the NHL. They win the faceoff. FIA holding passing. Arma and tight. Saved and covered by Decor. They’re one for their last 15 coming in. I like this look. You’re coming in. You’re creating the pressure down low. Arma who’s now joined this top unit. Hops in the air off the draw. Lingren plays it behind the net. Perry is there to intercept. Perry walks out, has room, hits the crossbar, it appeared. Perry and his intelligence down low. He looks up high to see what the passing options are, but decides instead I’m going to shoot and off the crossbar. You see Moore there looking for the rebound, but Cory Perry in his first 20 minutes and he does the middle drive hard. They need him to be a factor every time he’s on the ice. Bfield breaks his stick. Dun was shoved out. Everly touch pass into the skates of Beners. Now Stevenson for Dunn. Blunt timer. Score. Watch the lamp on the power play. One- nothing Seattle. More time and space already with the man advantage to move the puck around. The one touch and can a beautiful shot. I spoke to him this morning and he talked about the importance of him finding space to use his shot. Yes, this was on the power play, but excellent read. He’s just in the high slot for D. One-time missed the target. McCann will hold the zone. Mac now in the middle. Fires and ricochets to the tall glass. Veneers keeps it alive. Everly off the glove of Forsber. And possession time for them on the five on three. And that was Everly goes far side. Less than a half minute on their power play now. Montour to gain the line and he stick checked. Ar Leferier a short-handed breakaway to tie the game. He scores. Alex Leferier short-handed and the Kings have tied the game at one. They’ve done so a couple of other times in recent games and it’s really hurt them. And you have the lead in the game. Beautiful forehand. Fakes the shot. Comes to the backhand. Look at him. He sets. He puts his heads head up, sells the forehand shot, moves over to the side, creates the opening on his backhand, and goes top shelf. An absolute. They’ll leave it in the corner. Maca up the wall. Montour rolls it down low. Macan is there in time to snapped up by the glove of Forsber joining offensively. Here’s the pass that neutral zone. You see Arma just the pause sort of flutters that puck up to make sure he can skate into it. What a back. Dudy is there. Stevenson and Anderson come together in the corner. Marchman with room off of Forsber. Loose puck jammed at kept out. Poked at and whistled down. Agreed, Alex. The whistle went and and if not, it was certainly the intention of the officials to blow their whistle before the puck went across the line, but you could tell Forsber never knew where the puck was for Los Angeles. And you see his second short-handed goal of the season. And he’s a competitor. You see him on the for check. You see him battling. Walks out to the goal line and then pushed off his feet by Stevenson. No penalty. Arma tight pass. Kempe a good chance on the doorstep. A one-handed pass and that’s what you need first. And that’s the pass that goes to Arma before he gets it back. I mean that’s such a smart play too cuz he goes far pad and he knows Kopitar is there for the rebound. So he’s working away from the puck. Dowy to Kopitar to the doorstep. Arma denied by Dord. Had top shelf but couldn’t get it over the pad. Kopitar for Kee. put it away. Ar denied again. Dour to the rescue. Marsh was coming out of the box hoping to attack, but this is the the element that we saw from Decord. His movement. He sees the puck through traffic and prevents Arma from raising the puck. He’s assertive and presses out on the crease. And then just right after that, Arma gets this look off the boards and you think he has the time and Seattle will skate out with him. Kako for Newman center pass right was there tied up by Turkot looking to break the tie man out there on this top unit he’ll receive a pass in tight forsber covers up in his blue paint they have the one power play goal from man and it was created because of the quick puck movement so this is great speed of dragging it to the middle and then you see whether it’s a quick pass then you make the movement towards the net so not taking too much time to make the decision. Quick passing, quick puck movement to shoot. Trying to go short side high. Everly out to the points. McCann slides it across for Dunn. Done. Back down low for Everly to the middle. Stevenson denied by Forsber. With a nice dish into Stevenson who’s all alone in the slot area. And Forsber makes another nice save but couldn’t connect with Ko. Papo Kako behind the net centering tool tool in and Forsber able to come up with it. Goes to Tolvin and Forsber now looking like he is controlling every re and Kopitar over skate the puck down. He recovers. Gives it away. Meyers hands it off. Werton driving. Forsber got a piece. He’ll track it down. Absorb the contact. Rim it around. CC to the blue line. Perry tosses one into traffic. Malop battling net front. Dord lunging out. Got a piece with his glove and it stayed out. Turned back towards goal by Turkot. That was blocked. And Dord hops on top of the loose puck. Minutes remaining. How about this sequence with the Kings looking for a go-ahead goal and somehow Dord kept it out. Looking for a third straight victory. A double minor lead in the third period putting them on the power play. FIA to the net. He scores upstairs. Kevin Fiala has given the Kings the lead on the power play. The ice and to get up the ice quickly. And you see Kopitar is there and he knows exactly where he’s going to put the puck because FIA is moving in with speed and FIA gets the inside positioning and goes top shelf on the back hand. Tremendous finish. That was just getting the puck up the ice quickly from their own blue. Looking for their third straight victory. Evans ready to leave the box. Fiala driving in. The cord held his ground. They weren’t quite there yet when Montour released the shot. Leads this cleanly. Kemping hammers it around the boards. Stunn keeps it in. Passes down low. Tolvin in with 26 seconds. Centering score. Matty Beneers has tied it. So this time it was Dun that has the puck at the point and Tolvin looks high and then you see Beneers coming in front and you have numbers down low. You see three Seattle Kraken players there. Excellent look. Beneers the ability to find the space and to beat Forsber. You see the air time. He gets midair. The skates are off the ice in celebration. Continue on this this theme of the league we talked about. Think about making the most of your opportunity now that you’re on the ice as one of those six players. Seattle to dump the puck in. Time will run out and this game will head to overtime. By field against Stevenson to open up overtime. Stevenson, Montour, and Everly the unit. Biffield got the steal after season high allowed by the Kings. Seattle looking for the winner on the man advantage. Four against three. Everly leaving it for Tolvin. And one timer scores. It’s done in overtime. And the Kraken snap their losing streak. A comeback victory over the LA Kings in overtime. yet again the Tolvin and that’s where they found success on all of their

Vince Dunn dished two assists, then capped off his big night with the overtime-winning goal as the Kraken squeezed by the Los Angeles Kings 3-2.

  1. Great play from Eeli Tolvanen.

He gave two decisive passes in the end. He has a good shot but he can pass . He was known as young as good to give heavy tackles.

He should do more both of those.
