Tavius Robinson on Returning From Injury | Baltimore Ravens

So Davius, just how good does it feel to get back out there? How do you feel? Yeah, it feels so good to get back out there. Um, you know, it’s a blessing to be back out there with my brothers and just, you know, excited to go out there and ball with them. For sure for a guy who you had never missed even a practice, let alone a game for to have your first injury like that. Just how difficult has that been? Yeah, you know, it was really tough at the start, especially the first couple weeks there. You know, not being able to do much. Uh, you know, watching at home definitely sucked, but um, you know, there was two ways I could look at you can either, you know, be frustrated and mad at it or just attack rehab. And really, that’s that’s kind of what I did. Just put my head down and did everything I could to get back as fast as possible. So, what’s this process look like for you? Yeah, I think it was just, you know, again, it was just weeks of rehab and now, you know, feel great, feel um, you know, don’t even recognize the foot anymore. Just feels normal. So, um, yeah, it’s just about getting back and yeah. How much are you just play a game again? Yeah, I’m so excited to just play a game again. Like I said, watching on TV was very hard the first couple weeks. Um, just because you want to be out there with your guys, you know what I mean? So, T, it seems the pass rush as a whole changed a lot since you last played. Just what’s been your impression of what you’ve seen watching those guys? Yeah, I think, you know, the the addition of vets like Trey was great and, you know, getting in the film room with him. You know, it’s great to just bounce ideas off of him and again, watch his play style and all that stuff. So, I think as a unit, we we’ve come a long way and, you know, still uh a lot more to do for sure. T is your guy. Never missed a practice, never missed a workout or anything before this. Just kind of mentally, what was this like for you to go through this first time? Yeah, I think um you know, I think it’s going to make me stronger, honestly. Um again, with with the rehab port part of it, you know, it was just about coming in every day and attacking it like a practice day. So, that’s kind of what I did. And I think um you know, it’ll pay off as I don’t really feel the foot anymore. Like, I don’t feel the So, I think it will definitely pay off. And yeah, feel ready to go. feel like a friend’s over shirt. What’s it been like to watch the team kind of have to claw it way back from one and five while you’re doing this rehab and now must win mode again to reach the playoffs to think of what you guys want and now you’re going to be part of that picture. What’s it been like to see that all in pools while you’re trying to get back and knowing you’re going to be back? Yeah. No, it’s been great to see you know the team like like you said claw back um and you know put ourselves in a position to go win a game this weekend and and continue to stack games. Um so yeah now you know being back it’s important to um again take it one game at a time right now all all our eyes and focus is on Cincinnati right so in the past rush has been searching for some Jason recent games what are you hoping to add to it? Yeah I’m hoping to just get back out there bring you know a little juice um and bring you know that energy to to not only this like sideline but you know just give us the energy to go out there and um you know get it done affect the quarterback. So, how tough is it to get after a guy like Joe Burrow? I think it’s just uh you know, obviously he’s a great quarterback, so it’s going to be big on us doing our jobs, executing, you know, up front and uh making sure we get to him and bring him down. I know you said it’s feeling great playing Sunday. Uh I do. Yeah. Yeah, for sure. T you said it was really tough watching games. Just can you take us inside? What’s that like when you’re at your house watching games? How are you all jacked up? It’s hard to flip off that switch or honestly like the first two games was like hard for me to watch cuz like I felt like truthfully like I was letting my team down not being out there so it was hard to even like just stomach watching you know my guys go out there. Um once I was able to get on the sideline and kind of have the earpiece in and all that it was easier to you know be a part of it but yeah it was hard at the start for sure. Being forced to watch were you able to learn anything from having that different perspective? Yeah, I think, you know, first of all, it just it’s a reminder to, you know, never take a snap for granted. Like I was kind of saying when I was hurt, like I would die to just go out there and play a a field goal, block snap, like anything. So, it’s like just a reminder of never to take it for granted. And um you know, every play, every snap has to be full effort, full everything because you never know what can be taken away. So,

  1. Travis Robinson, boy your boy and my glad to see you. Are you starting on Sunday or not? I think you are that’s what John Harbaugh said so I’ll see you then.πŸ¦β€β¬›πŸ–€πŸ’œ
