  3. No one is hating on anyone. We are a passionate bunch and this is ~~hard~~ painful to watch. It not so much the losing, it’s the inept way we are doing it.

  10. I’ve never seen a QB who isn’t a douchebag off the field get so much hate from the media all the way from college. Is he perfect? No. Is he a top 3 QB? No. Is he the greatest thrower of the ball in the league? No. He needs to play better. He needs to run more. And he needs to fix his mistakes.

    But the idea of benching is nothing but media hate, and WIP loves getting the attention they’re getting for saying nonsensical things like this.

  15. I wanted to respect him for not leaning into the celebration aspect of the win, but I’m starting to believe it may have been a mistake. He doesn’t have the memory of how amazing it felt to accomplish that goal. Too quick on the mental reset, and the drive to get back to that feeling is fleeting.

  16. 4 playoffs, 2 Super bowls, 1 Super Bowl win, Super Bowl MVP 7 months ago. He’s achieved more than some who have yet to make playoffs let alone win a Super Bowl.

  18. had an mvp super bowl win, had an mvp superbowl loss. Still sucks this year, in fact he’s absolutely fucking awful. Both can be true.

    I don’t care if he’s benched honestly, he’s not my favorite player. I love the guy and what he’s been able to do but I am not the type to say “well since you’ve done good in the past, that allows you to be awful now”. It’s not a 1 game skid, we’ve seen this before in other years, and we’ve seen it the whole year. Dude has done great things, but he’s terrible to watch through 13 games this year.

  22. Having a bad season this year would be disappointing but it’s not gonna crush me. Do you guys remember what it was like in the 2000s and early 2010s watching this team fail to win a championship?

    Now we have 2 recent super bowls. Compared to back then, even if the season falls apart, I’m happy with this group.

    Everyone is allowed to have terrible games. He did. And our entire offense looks like ass this season. Given that we have no coaching, that is to be expected.

    I had hoped we learned from 2023 mistakes, Sirianni should never be allowed to appoint coaches, buuuut, Howie didn’t.
