NBA LIVE! Los Angeles Lakers vs Sacramento Kings | December 11, 2025 | Lakers vs Kings LIVE
Look at the numbers for these teams, Brent. They both pile up assists. Those are some of the better teams to play for and are the most dangerous in terms of setting up your scheme defensively. Coaching staffs have a really hard time trying to get their team ready against an opponent that moves the ball as often as both of these teams do tonight. And now the Los Angeles starters. Reeves at the two, but LeBron at the three. Rui Hatimura is out there with DeAndre Aiden. And it’s Donuchen at the point guard. Now here is James Aton. A screen on Shruder and out of bounds. Sacramento will have it. And Lavine has got the ball here for the Kings. D Rozan outside. puts it up from 17. Will not go. Misses off the front iron. Pass to Reeves. Takes it off with both hands and rips it down. You can tell Donic trusts his teammates. He’ll get them looks and doesn’t insist on doing everything himself. Let’s go now to the sideline and catch up with Alli Leaf Force. I had a chance to catch up with Sacramento’s head coach. I asked him if he thinks anyone has a better feel for the game than Luca Donic, and he told me, “I don’t want to get into a comparison, but what I can say is that he controls the pace like no one else. You can’t speed him up. You can’t slow him down, guys.” Good job there, Ally. Thanks. Now, here’s Murray. Pass to D. Rozan. They set the pick. Shoots over Aton. And D Rozan gets it to go. D Rozan’s gotten his second bucket of the game. Starting to find his rhythm. He’s cooking and he knows it. Yeah, right now I don’t see any let up. I think he’s going to just keep putting his foot on that gas pedal tonight. How about Aiden going up there and showing off a little bit of his skill with the half turn. The Kings have gone just two for four from the floor. Shruder passes to D Rozan down low and there’s Sabonis. That one’s good on the assist by D Rozan. The defensive effort was lacking a bit, but hey, give him credit for finding a weakness there. Just really smart basketball and exploiting whatever holes that he’s seeing right now in the defensive squad. Now here’s Dantic. Back to Reeds. Pass to Aimura. Here’s Aiden and Tomomas Sabonis pulls it down. His touch from mid-range, that’s almost always good. That won’t shake his confidence. Well, Grant the Kings, one of those upand cominging teams that are knocking at the door. Yeah, they have some stars, BA. They have some great great role players, too. Part of their problem is they’re in the Western Conference. It’s so hard to just make the playin tournament in that conference. one of the more skilled offensive players that is on the floor here tonight. Not an easy Pella to hold in check. Aimura against Murray. Aimura. The pass to Jane. Gets the three ball to go. Oh, when LeBron shooting like that, nothing you can do defensively. And so it’s Shruder with it. He brings it up for the Kings. Shot from 15 ft away and it’s D to Rozan missing. The Lakers trail shoots over Shruder and he misses the go-ahead basket. D Rozan with the ball now. Donic defending. Oh, rejected by Eightton. And so it looks like the Kings will retain possession here. And the fans love seeing incredible moments on defense like that block. That’ll put some fear into the shooters and he made sure to do it early too. The Kings making a switch here. Ellis has checked in and the Lakers also making a switch. Vanderbilt’s checked in for Aimura. D Rozan looks it over. Vanderbilt against Murray. Pass to D Rozan. Just five to shoot and once again off the mark by Sacramento. He really suffocated him there, guys. Just excellent work. Outside Vanderbilt. James against D. Rozan. Donic. The shots good on the assist by James. The size and strength of Donic can go overlooked. I mean, he’s more than capable of scoring there in the paint. Now, a timeout called by Sacramento. Heat. Heat. The Kings have gone four of nine in this one so far. D Rozan passes to Sabonis. Here’s Ellis. Pass to D Rozan. Just five on the clock. And so he draws the foul. Headed to the line to shoot a pair. Demar D Rozan, an impressive scorer who takes relatively few three-point shots. Gray. Yeah, the arc is not his primary focus. He’d rather pick you apart in the mid-range, but he does it so consistently that the points pile up quick. That’s good from D Rozan. What impresses me most about D Rozan is his footwork, especially when he’s operating around the mid-range. D Rozan hits them both. A great player on a great role at the charity strike. The D has got to be careful about being too aggressive on him and sending him back for freebies. Now here’s Dantes. Three-pointer off the mark. Yeah, and the defense really respects his shooting ability and they showed it with that tight coverage. Lavine passes to Murray. over James and it’s D Rozan missing. Well, the defense was right up on him so electing to go for the fadeaway there to create some room. Well, that makes sense. The three from Aton. Zack Lavine clears it away. The Kings leading. Oh, he took a hard foul on the shot. So, he’ll head to the line to shoot a pair. It’s going to be on DeAndre Aton. Lavine’s gotten better and better at drawing contact and getting to the line. He had to work at it as a young player, but that work has paid off. That free throw good from Lavine. You know, Zack Lavine is so energetic out there on the floor. You got to love a guy who consistently plays at a very high effort level like that. The Kings making a switch here. Monks checked in and the Lakers also making a switch. Connect checked in for Reeves. Good on both. Here’s James. over and he drops it in from the low post. James has got five. Once he gets down in the paint, there’s not much you’re going to do to stop the king. James against Monk. Pass to D Rozan. Over Vanderbilt and it’s D Rozan missing. I mean, he’s trying to shoot his way out of what’s becoming a prolonged cold streak. Yeah, he’s got to move on. Forget about this sequence here and and try to find a way to get on the board. How much fun is it to watch this guy when he’s on one like this loves to attack the rim. Time now to hear from our reporter Ally Leforce. Hey Brian, one nickname you hear for Demard Rosen is the lone mid-ranger. He said, “You can operate freely in the mid-range. It’s like an ocean out there. If you’re smart, you can take advantage of the space and pick teams apart. Brian, he’s an expert tactician working in between. Thanks, Ally. And some changes here for the Kings. Demana Sabonis, he’s checked in for Murray. And Dario Sharich is subbed in for Dear D. Roza. The Lakers in the lead. Now Reeds. 151 left in the first. Pass to Vanderbilt. Hayes with it. Outside Reeves from the ark and the three-pointer goes. He’s got five. Defensively, you have to stay connected to him on the perimeter. And so Mark will bring it up for the Kings. 124 left in the first quarter. Here’s Lavine for three. Rebound by the Lakers. And you never want to give a shooter like him a clean look. Here’s James. And the officials whistle a foul on the shot. The bucket is good. And he’ll go to the line. You see LeBron just shrug off that contact there. It’s like nothing even hit him. All right. Well, a look at how the points have been generated so far. A scoring breakdown for Los Angeles. What’s up? Well, you got to be impressed with how selfless they’ve been so far. Their passing has been simply outstanding. Getting to the inside is really important, but it’s how close you can get to the basket. It feels like these guys are all around the rim in their attack tonight. Well, Grant, even though it looks like LeBron could play forever, he stated that he doesn’t have much time left. Well, it’s unbelievable that he sustained this level of excellence for as long as he has. I would be surprised if we see this type of longevity ever again. Now a timeout by Sacramento. Connect checked in for Los Angeles. Kings trail by seven. 107 left in the first. Monk with it. Still without a bucket. Shot to stop the run. And that’s two points on the layup. If the defender is giving him that much space, the points are inevitable. The Lakers lead by five. And here’s Smart. Hayes with a screen on Carter inside and finished off by Hayes. Yeah, just picking apart the defense. Smart moves things around to create a shot. Sacramento has gone 0 for two from outside. Pass to Sabonis. We’ve got 33 seconds left to play in the first. The Lakers with a rebound. He’s as surprised as we are. Most nights that bucket is automatic. Outside Reeves. Back to Smart. Down to five on the shot clock. The Lakers got to get one up. Late clock, Hayes misses. And so it’s LeBron James making things happen for the Lakers. He put together 10 points in the quarter. We’ll be right back after this word. And thanks again for tuning in. If you’re just joining us, we’ve played through one quarter of action so far. What do you guys think about Los Angeles here in this one? Well, you have to credit their effort on the defensive end. It set the tone for this contest. That defense has been infectious here as everybody stepping up aggressively on that end. So, it’s Los Angeles now. Seven-point game, biggest lead so far. Doug Mcder out there with Damon Sabonis. Then it’s Malik Monk. And it’s Ellis in at the two guard. That’s the five to begin the second quarter for the Kings. Here’s Monk. Takes it inside. An easy two on the layup. The Lakers lead by five. Reeves with the ball now. Carter defending the rebound by Carter. The King shooting 40% from the field in this one. Monk passes to Mcder. Parked it down low that time. Got hit with the 3second call. Fred, how much importance do you put on coaching at the pro level? Well, BA, it’s huge. And I think the the best coaches in the league are the best relationship builders. I mean, it’s not about the tactics. Everybody’s running the same plays and trying to take advantage of the same things. It really comes down to the connectivity between the coach and understanding each and every player you have on your team. And Smart has always been a good passer, but in recent years, he’s really honed in on his playmaking abilities. Sabonis with a screen on Reeves. He takes it in. Ellis’s shot is off and Reeves has got the ball here for Los Angeles. Seven-point differential and here’s connect outside. Count it. One for one to start the game and just totally relentless. Only increasing the intensity level. He’s the guy that you want to go to right now trying to put this one away. Now here’s Shruder. He’s scoreless. Picked by Sabonis. Monk for three. Hits a three-pointer. Oh, you got to love the back and forth. Showing real confidence at the arc. Yeah. Both teams finding ways to the three-point line and trying to take advantage from distance. Here’s Aimura. Shot clock at five. Here’s Reeves. It’s rebounded by Sabonis. Sabonis has got rebound number five here tonight. Pass to Ellis. outside. Shruder three-pointer knocks down the long cave. Now just a four-point Los Angeles lead. And right there, Dennis Shruder shows some confidence by nailing the jumper. And here’s Aimura. Now Hayes pass to Reeves. And here’s Aimura. charge covers and the basket by Aimura and the Lakers lead by six. Yeah, Aimura flexing on the inside. Now here’s Ellis. He’s covered by Reeves. Shruder passes to Sabonis and they pick up two. Sabonis has gotten his second bucket. which can make it so much easier for your teammate when you throw that lead pass that gets to him right on the money, whether that’s on the run or in the shooting pocket. Now, here’s Reeds. Five points in the game. Hayes finds Reeves. Los Angeles shooting their second and third shots at the line here. Shoot two. And that one falls for Reeves. Demar D Rozan’s checked in for the Kings. Lavine comes in for Ellis. LeBron, he’s checked in for the Lakers. Donic comes in for Smart and good on the second. So he makes them both here in the second quarter. Just under 3 and 1/2 minutes played. Time now called the Kings. And now that they have some time to get a little bit of rest, it’s time for these players to regroup while hydrating themselves with some Gatorade. Looking to gain a boost of energy as they continue to play in this game. And staying hydrated is the only surefire way to do it. An athletes body doesn’t have the same power and stamina without proper hydration. These guys will be sure to use this timeout wisely. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Stay away. And in the second quarter, a little under three and a half minutes played already and it’s Monk missing. The Lakers lead by six. Here’s Reeves on the money from 12 ft away. Reeves has got four points now in the quarter. Some defenses are designed to yield the mid-range shot. For him, that’s a good look. outside. Shooter from downtown. Sacramento again missing. He’s not the guy that you want to give a wide open look from three-point range. They’re lucky that that one doesn’t toss a lot. Pass to Reeves. Get out of the way. Wow. And he makes no mistake. Slam dunk. Gifted moving the ball. Luca is one of the best passers in the league. Now here’s Monk. He’s got seven. Sabonis with a screen on James. Monk passes to Leavine. Aimura against Monk. Five to shoot. Lets it go from deep. Nails it from three. Monk’s got 10 points. No way he’s going to pass that shot up, but D is way too far back and relaxed in getting out on it. Donic against Shruder on the wing. Reeves. Pass to James. LeBron fires one down. And it looks like a change in LeBron’s demeanor out there. He’s going into scoring mode. Sabonis outside. D Rozan against Achimura. Back to Sabonis. He’s got a piece of it. James deciding where to go with it and a foul called on the way up. So he’ll take two from the free throw line. Punk picks one up. So hard to contain LeBron. He’s explosive and clever and unpredictable. It’s kind of a nightmare for any defense. Take a break. Take a break. Two shots. And the first one at the line is good. Eubanks. He’s checked in for Sacramento. And the Lakers also making a switch. Vincent’s checked in. Both free throws good from James. Here’s Lavine outside. Shruder. Back to Leavine. Up and over. Donic after missing his first attempt. Now one for two. A shot Lavine can make work. I mean, he’ll just exploit whatever gap he finds in the defense. Back to Vincent to the paint. Here’s Donic in the paint. Luca. And trust me, when the D’s slow to react, he’ll be the first guy to make them pay. Well, I know they don’t have mobile devices out there for texting, so they might as well talk to one another. Shruder passes to Monk. 143 left to play in the first half. Took the opportunity when he saw it. Monk’s got 11 points in the quarter. Defensively, you can’t afford to get stuck on the pitch. That’s one that the coaches will watch tomorrow with that player. You hate to see him give up in that situation. Now here’s Donic over Lavine and it’s Donic missing. Kings trail by eight now. Here’s Lavine. Here’s Eubanks. And he was fouled while in the act of shooting. So he’ll take two free throws. These are his first free throws of the game. First free throw is good. Murray’s checked in for Monk. DeAndre Eaton, he’s checked in for Los Angeles. Reeves comes in for Vincent. That’s also good. So, he hits both free throws. And James has got the ball here for the Los Angeles Lakers. They’ve led by as many as 11. Here’s Aimura. Oh, and there’s the whistle on the shot. So, two free throws for him coming up. It’s on Keegan Murray. Well, the compromised defense happened because of the attacking mentality of Hachimura. Los Angeles shooting their sixth and seventh free throw shots in the game. Take a break. Take a break. Two shots. The first one falls and Sacramento making a change here. Sabonis checked in He does not get the second one. Kings trail by seven to the middle. Here’s Lavine. Back to D Rozan. Stopped home by D Rozan on the jam. You got to keep that head up and Lavine knows that. Able to hit his man in stride there. Don passes to Aimura. James outside and again the Lakers no good. Let’s see if they want to go two for one here. Grant. Hey, looking at the clock, I’d say yes. And he got the whistle on the way up. So, he’ll be headed to the line for a pair. Just putting in work. Lavine with a strong move and gets rewarded with a trip to the line. This is his second trip to the free throw line in this one. He hits the second from the line. 7sec difference between the shot clock and the game clock to the inside. Aiden no good. The Kings have gotten eight of 12 attempts to drop since the beginning of the second. Shruder passes to Murray. Here’s D Rozan. Checked by James. and Aiden pulls it down. Hayden’s got his fifth rebound in this one. Right side Reeves over to Rosen. And a pretty tightly contested game here as we end the first half. Lakers ahead up four. We’ll see you after halftime for the beginning of the third quarter. And after a fairly even first couple of quarters, this second half could turn out to be a great one is both teams trying to gain an edge. You know, LeBron James has been exceptional here, guys. Can they come up with an answer for him coming out of the half? They have to change something defensively. Yeah, just way too easy out there. And I’m sure coach is going to make that a priority at halftime. Here’s Donic. And so in the game for Los Angeles at the forward slots, it’s LeBron and Aimura. Luca Donic is out there with Austin Reeds and it’s Aiden in at the five. Yes, it’s good. Hachimura’s got five. Nice job seeking out space from the screen. Hachimura played that to perfection. Shruder passes to Sabonis. D Rozan against James. Set it up. Now here’s Sabonis. Defense right on it. Clock at four. He hits it just before the shot clock expires. Six points for him. Boy, it really helps to capitalize on possessions like that. Sabonis under control. Well, Grant, in the spring of 2024, a remarkable streak ended. To Sabonis had recorded 61 consecutive double doubles. Yeah, it was the longest streak since the merger back in 1976. Now, Sabonis has led the NBA in rebounding multiple years. Plus, he has averaged eight assists in a season. So, that is big time production. Murray shot is good. Yeah, this is the kind of confidence you love seeing. Murray not thinking twice at all about firing away. Here’s Reeves into the lane and he takes that one up and powers it through. Now that’s how you capitalize on a screen. Yeah, good positioning, too. Gave him a clear path to the hoop. Really not enough help there. Lack of communication on the backside. Now here’s Lavine. Five points in the game. That’s exactly how you have to defend them on the perimeter. Can’t allow any space. James outside. Donic is double. Hayden finds Aimura. James outside from deep three-point land. Rebound by the Kings. Sabonis has got rebound number seven tonight. Pass to Murray outside. Lavine. Sabonis with a screen on Donic. Here’s Lavine for three and Aiden pulls it down. The Lakers lead by five inside. James inside working on Sabonis and it goes as the official calls the foul. Count it and he’ll shoot one more at the line and he’s got his fourth free throw of the game. And that one misses. Sacramento is gone. Only one of three from deep here in the third. Donic against Shruder outside. Murray pass to D Rozan. Shot on the wing and another miss by Sacramento. I admire the play call. They just couldn’t capitalize. Yeah, an efficient offensive possession. They found the look that they wanted, just didn’t go in. As long as passes are in that area, Aton’s going to get up and go down. And so here’s Sacramento after the Lakers picking up a basket just moments ago. Now a timeout by Sacramento. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat Get up right there. Outside Shruder Lavine feeling it out a bit and the foul is called. He missed it so he’s got a couple of free throws coming his way. Man, the defender really went after him. Three trips to the line so far for him in this one. shooting two. And he drops the first. Both free throws good from Lavine. Here’s Donic. A little under three and a half minutes off the clock now in the third quarter. Aiden against Sabonis. And here’s Reeds outside. Count that one. He’s scoring at a nice clip. He’s six of nine tonight. Things are starting to come together for them. And the lead is starting to grow, too. Coaches always talk about the first five minutes of the third quarter. They have definitely increased their energy level here. Now here’s Shruder and another miss by Sacramento. Let’s check in with our reporter Ally Leforce. The NBA wants to ensure that every team has a shot. Commissioner Adam Silver said, “We want parody of opportunity. People aren’t interested in seeing teams buy championships and we’ve made progress. In the long term, we’re better off with more competitive fairness among all of the teams.” That’s true. It keeps everything interesting. Thanks, Ally. Now, here’s Leavine. Seven points in the game over Azimura. Lavine can’t hit. And here’s Donic. He’ll bring it up for Los Angeles. And this team’s offensive catalyst. Donic puts pressure on the defense every possession. And a moment to check out the scoring breakdown for Los Angeles. Boy, you love their unselfish play. Keeping that ball moving. Good shot to great. That’s winning basketball. Well, we’ve also seen them being very aggressive down in the paint. All game long. They’ve been hunting down those inside points. The first free throw is good. And Donas is a walking triple double threat. His versatility and confidence is really special. Ellis has checked in for Sacramento. The Lakers also with a sub. Vanderbilt’s checked in. He’s perfect from the line this time. Kings trail by 12. Pass to Ellis. Sabonis with it. Murray with it. Guarded by Vanderbilt. Murray no good. Man, I thought he was making that in so close. That’s some aggressive defense. Reeves finds Donic. James outside. A strong finish by Donic going on the attack. Luca doesn’t give them a chance to get between him and the rim. Reeves against Lavine. Murray. A screen on Reeves. Lavine passes to Murray. Sabonis against Aiden. Six on the shot clock. Sabonis left side again. The miss by the Kings. Los Angeles leading by 14. When we talk about the top players in the league, Brent Demanus Sabonis can get overlooked. You wonder if the record was a little bit better last year for the Kings where he might have finished in the MVP voting because this guy led the league in rebounding and he put up eight assists per game. So, top 10 in MVP. That could have moved up a little bit with a winning record. He is a legitimate star at his position. And he’s headed to the line for two. He gets the whistle there. And the physical style Murray plays with will serve him well in this league. First trip to the free throw line for him in this one. Shooting two. He’s off on the first. Murray. A pretty shining example of the modern NBA forward. Versatile, plays different positions, good at both ends. He’s the kind of guy every team wants. Good on the second one. Now Reeds, 16 points for him. Pass to Vanderbilt. Now here is James. Here’s Donic. And yes, it goes. He’s got a little English on that one. Donic has got six points in the quarter. Here’s Ellis. Still no points. Murray looking around on the wing. Lavine. Here’s Ellis. And it’s good. Credited Lavine with the assist. Ellis has got his first three points of the game. Donic outside, takes the three. Rebound by Sacramento. Yeah, you know, he usually makes you pay from that range. Here’s D Rozan. D Rozan getting it done inside. And D Rozan is fearless, not afraid of getting inside and going up to score. Outside Vanderbilt back to Donic. Got a piece of it. Here’s Ellis. And there’s the lob. And the dunk by D Rozan. And that’s what happens when you don’t take care of the ball. Hey, that makes the turnover hurt even more. And the gamble paying off. Now here’s Donic. Eight-point game. Pass to Ay. Oh, a clear foul there on the miss shot. So, he’ll get a pair at the line. That’ll belong to Demanis Sabonis. Unable to simply overwhelm people the way he did in college just because of his size. Eighton has done a much better job just staying patient. Great pump fake there. That’s good from Aiden. Well, Aiden and efficiency go hand in hand. I mean, this guy’s field goal percentage is on cloud9. Some changes for Sacramento. Jones, he’s checked in for Murray. Malik Monk comes in for D Rozan. And it’s Shruder in for Zack Lavine. So he makes one of two and the second one misses. Kings trail by nine. Here’s Monk. It’s rebounded by Los Angeles. Aiden’s got nine rebounds in the game. Boy, he’s getting it done. Two second difference between shot and game clock. Reeves with the ball. 16 points for him. There’s the triple counted from distance. Reeves has got 19 points. And so it’s Los Angeles now holding a 12-point lead at quarters end. We hear teams talk about wanting to get the ball inside, but this is how you do it. We’re coming right back. Don’t go anywhere. And it’s time now to bring you our State Farm assist of the game. He’s always near the top of the list for this honor. I mean, passes like these are his specialty. Doesn’t happen with every point guard in the league as far as setting your teammates up. Lots more scorers now, but right there creating the scoring opportunity for his teammate. And we reach the fourth quarter in a game that may already be out of hand. We’ve got Zack Lavine, Drew Eubanks out there with Malik Monk, then it’s Dennis Schruder, and it’s Ellis in at the two spot. So that’s the five in the game for Sacramento. And it’s all from three-point range. The Lakers lead by 12. James passes to Smart. Back to James. Out to Aimura. The three that falls. Nice feed that time from James. Aimura ready. Had that shot lined up. And so Monk will bring it up for Sacramento. Screen from the top of the key. That’s good on the jumper. 60 ticks off the clock here in the fourth. And here’s Smart. Pass to James from outside the ark. Monk grabs a miss. Kings trail by 13. Now here’s Lavine. Now Eubanks. Now Monk over Ashimura. And it’s Monk missing. James passes to Smart. Back to James. Physical play by LeBron inside. He’s pouring it on at a nice clip. And the rest of the team is stepping up as well. Pass to Eubanks. Here’s Monk. Eubanks. The screen. And it’s Monk missing. Here’s connect covered by Shruder. Hayes with it. And here’s connect outside. Ellis with a rebound. Sacramento has gone 0 for two from outside here in the fourth quarter. Pass to Lavine. And here’s Monk. That one no good. The Lakers lead by 15. Smart looking around with the ball. Pass to Hayes. Here’s James. Covered by Shruder. Smart outside that falls. Nice feed that time from James. James has got five assists in the game. Just about 3 minutes through the fourth and final quarter here. They’ve been having major problems offensively. Definitely in a bit of a dry spell. Outside Monk 43. It’s rebounded by Los Angeles. Something’s off about him this quarter. Well, he’s missing and it’s starting to affect a little bit in his body language and you just don’t want to see that. And he makes it. Hachimura’s got five points in the quarter. I like Hachimura on the inside. Patience and capitalizing from that tight spot. Smart against Shruder. Pass to Monk. Outside Lavine. Clock at six. They still need this. Nails it from beyond the arc. And just phenomenal at reading defenses. Lavine understands when to shoot and when to pass and pick and rolls. And so JJ Reic calls for the timeout, rallying his guys to make sure they all know the plan. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Some changes for Sacramento. Sabonis, he’s checked in for Eubanks. Murray comes in for Monk and D Rozan is subbed in for Ellis. Here’s Donic. Aiden inside. He’s guarded by Sabonis. Aiden no good. And so it’s Shruder with it. He brings it up for Sacramento. Trailing by 17. Sabonis with a screen on Donic. Tries a 10-footer and it’s off the back of the rim. No good. Well, that’s a shot they want just about on every possession if they can get it. He doesn’t make them all, but still very much a high percentage look. Now, here is James and once again off the mark by Los Angeles. Lavine passes to Shruder. Back to Lavine. Lavine slams it home. So good at getting elevated. Lavine rises up and hammers it down. Aimura outside. Pass to James offline with a three. You know, he’s usually very reliable from out there, but tonight it’s just not going down. Over to the left wing. And here’s Schroer outside. Oh, great knee that time from Donic. Los Angeles leading by 15. Down low, here’s Reeves. The shots good on the assist by James. Reeves has got 21 points in the game. Love his shot selection. Good at taking quality shots. Whether he’s defended or open, he knows how to knock those down. Murray passes to Lavine from the high post and the jumper is on the mark. Lavine’s got nine points here in the second half. One thing you don’t have to worry about with Lavine is his scoring. You pretty much know he’s going to give you points each and every night. James up top. There’s a minute 59 left in the game. Six to shoot. Oh, it’s stolen by D Rozan and pushing it up. Here’s Sacramento. Here’s Shruder. Count the bucket. Coming off a perfectly placed pass. Catching the lead pass at full speed. Terrific anticipation and the delivery on time on target. Now here’s Donic. This one for three. Good. That’s his fifth bucket in nine attempts. They’ve been battling all night. Now they’re on the brink of putting this game away. Oh, a great job of getting in position to win a game. It’s been an allout effort from the squad. Here’s Lavine. Here’s D Rozan. D Rozan with the power move. And D Rozan just so crafty on those moves. Slips right through the contact for the finish. Donic passes to Aimura. Back to Donic. Hayden with a screen. The three is up. And another three for the Lakers. And the distance between the point totals for these teams tells the whole story. Just a fantastic effort and you have to give it up for the Lakers. All their efforts on the boards ended up paying off. And just two tough rebounding teams, but they gave the extra effort and were rewarded for it. And one of the league superstars producing as he always does. What a terrific game for LeBron James. So sharp on the passing tonight. You know, guys can get into a rhythm that way, too. Now, here’s Reeves. James outside LeBron. Pass to Aiden. Aimura finds Reeves. Four on the clock. Over to Rosen. The shot by Reeves. No good. And so it’s the Lakers easily grabbing this one. Boy, this crowd has to be shocked by the way their team was dismantled. Shocked and surprised. It doesn’t matter what the matchup is. You never expect a road team to just waltz in and cruise to the type of victory like we saw tonight. Well, now a minute to check in with Ally Leforce. She’s courtside. Hey, Ally. Luca, you played well tonight and your team got the win. Those two usually go together. But what else made the difference? Yeah, I think we had a had a great game. You know, we had a I think it was a great game today. You know, we step up together, play good defense, and it was a great win. Team defense goes a long way. Thanks, Luca. Ally, thank you as always.
