Danny Green: Raptors have best package for Giannis

I mean, that story was almost immediately overshadowed by Giannis. You know, all of a sudden him and his agent and the Bucks working on possibly his exit and he gets injured last night. He could be out two to four weeks. Is it as simple as Giannis to the Knicks for you or or do you see other team? Obviously, other teams would want him, but Giannis is going to have a pretty heavy voice in all this. Like, how do you see it playing out with Giannis? I mean, he wants to go there. That’s what he’s let it be known like he’s portrayed that indirectly, you know, through rumors, agents, whatever. You know, Doc said he didn’t ask for it directly from them for a trade. He loves Milwaukee. He wants to be there. But I’m sure his agent and and people around him are telling him like he wants to get to New York or somewhere else. Um, you know, I’ve done my podcast inside the green room. I’ve done other podcasts throwing out different random trades just for, you know, its giggles. And um you know I thought you know San Antonio would be a good destination for him. I thought he can go to Miami. I thought Minnesota would be nice to see him with Ant-Man and match up but he still move away. Uh but honestly the best packaging could come from you Toronto. You know you guys could definitely make it work. It’s just unfortunate Messiah’s not there anymore cuz that would be an a direct connect to him. But um yeah I think he the Toronto has an opportunity to make a push here. He’s still in the in the East. The East is open. They’re a number two seated team. And you know, they would treat him like a god there. I mean, obviously anywhere, but they would love to have him, I’m sure, in Toronto. But again, he wants to be Do you think Do you think it would have to include Scotty in order for that to for Milwaukee to accept it? Probably. Probably. Um, yeah. I mean, you could you could get away with just doing RJ Barrett. It’ have to be either one of those three, RJ Barrett, and Ingram or maybe two. But I would think would include Scotty. I think you can do RJ. I don’t think you would quick. I don’t know what other bench you have to probably maybe Yakapoto if you threw him in there. Like I don’t know what contracts have to match up, but I’d imagine they would want youth picks and best youth. And that would probably be Scotty, which Toronto’s reluctant to let go. I wouldn’t want to let him go either.

  2. Best package? All i can say is – in your dreams. If NY couldnt come up with a package. What makes you think TO. Key word is 'could' Anybody except SA or OKC would their cubbards cleaned out and then G would have nobody to play with. Would be better off staying were he is 😂

  7. No thanks, he has been black mailing the Bucks for years. The Raptors would be so depleted after the trade that they would not get in to the conference series and he will just turn around and start black mailing the Raptors, would rather keep Barnes and our picks. It's foolish to go from rebuilding last season to a all in trade

  9. In no world does it make sense for the Raptors to move Scottie in a deal for Antetokounmpo, at this stage of the team's development. He's a 24-year old having an all-NBA and All-Defense caliber season. Giannis is better at this point, obviously, but will he be in 2 years or even next year? And who exactly is Giannis going to play with, if you trade Scottie, RJ, other roster players and every available pick for the next 10 years. Doesn't get you any closer to a championship and sets your franchise back long-term. I'd be shocked if the Raptors are even mentioning SB4's name in any discussions.

  12. We don't need him ,if we have to give up Scottie..out of the question..he night be better than Scottie right now,but he is 30 yrs and getting injured more often these days let us build with what we got .we give them barret jakobe and 2 first rounders and that's it take it or leave it.

  15. Never make a deal that involves Scottie or BI… Giannis has what maybe 3 more years in his prime and can't close games offensively since he never developed any sort of outside game and can't make FTs.

  20. I don’t want Yanis. I think if we sign a star PG we are good to go. There is a lot of free agent guards coming up this year. (Trae Young, Lavigne, Dyson Daniel, Austin Reeves etc etc)

    Poetl healthy is a very good centre. You are giving up too much to get Yanis which will set your franchise back to far.

  27. This season, the Knicks need him (this season is KDs, who will vs KD?) I noticed that the other night when the loss to Orlando. Going forward, next season he feels like he could get a ring, but other teams will be thinking the same thing and going to be interesting. Stay healthy big guy. He absolutely looks like KAT Karl Anthony towns, but KAT is healthier, it seems, Giannis going to have to take a pay cut 😂

  32. I honestly think he doesn’t fit well.
    You can see he is good in a video game, but hasn’t improved much over the years and is prone to mental collapses.
