I’m rooting for Aube-Kubel just because he makes me think of Jason Kubel.

Looks like Gus is getting another start tonight too. We haven’t had a goalie start 2 games consecutively for over a month. Interesting.
I will say this as a “duh” comment, but will still receive pushback I am sure. Our prior years drafting has done nothing to help Iowa or provide depth. And yes, this falls 100% on Guerin. We can blame the coaches and staff in Iowa for not developing players, and this may be partially true. But no one is knocking on Guerin’s door from other teams thinking we have hidden talent that just needs coaching to excel. Iowa has been a dumpster fire for years and we barely have anyone that is a solid 4th line forward to come up and play. Sorry, I did not mean to offend any BG supporters. Just telling it like I see it, which may not be how you see it.
They looked passable in preseason, hopefully they can plug the gaps for the time being
