It was a genuinely dark time. Like, ominous and oppressive. Our franchise QB got locked up and our new coach quit halfway through the season after destroying locker room morale. It felt like the team was in an unprecedented death spiral with no escape.
This year is just a bad NFL season. A dozen teams have one every year.
