Possibly the last ‘elite’ free agent reliever that was left this offseason
Mets fans, how we feeling?
Well I wasn’t expecting that one
GET THE FUCK IN HERE LADS
Passan scooped Anthopolus!
Now get a shortstop!
Waiting for them to sign Michael King and Ha-seong Kim, they would then have a bunch of players on the 2024 Padres team.
Mets in full meltdown heading into 2026

Have fun with Profar, Bobby. Take care of him, Atlanta, that’s a damn good contract.
Jesus, that’s a goddamn bargain. AA earning his initials once again.
As a world renowned investor who owns one single share of Atlanta Braves Holdings… I approve
I like this offseason much better than last offseason
Pretty affordable AAV but I’m surprised to see him get 3 years at his age. I don’t think I’ll ever understand the relief pitcher market.
2022: sign Kenley to 1 year 16 million deal to close. Acquire Raisel midseason on 3/43.5 to be setup guy for a season and closer the next 2
2026: sign Raisel to 1 year 16 million deal to close. Acquire Suarez on 3/45 to be setup guy for a season and closer the next 2
Real Gs move in silence, like lasagna. AA loves lasagna
So, is Raisel staying as their closer?
Absolutely love it, now go get HSK please AA
Crazy the Padres can lose a guy that got them 76 saves over the last two years and still have arguably the best group of high-leverage bullpen arms in the sport
That doesn’t seem like a huge deal for how he pitched as a closer, but I forgot he’s 35 since he debuted pretty late after coming from Japan was it?
Congrats Bobby Fastballs!

As someone who has enjoyed getting drunk at the battery before a Braves game one time, I approve
What are the Braves cooking?
How much goes to the braves foundation?
See ya Bobby Fastballs. As much as my heartrate elevated whenever I saw a hitter working the count on him, you can’t argue with results; he was really, really good for us. Hope everything works out for him in Atlanta.
If they can just find a SS and another starter(a nice 4/5 type,) they will be good
I just threw 28 straight fastballs in his honor
The mets already signed a closer i’m confused on why the sky is falling because they didn’t get Suarez? You gave Devin Williams closer money but you wouldn’t do that if you didn’t think he would be good enough. Middle relief is a lot more solvable than a solid closer
Mets are that kid that doesn’t go outside for recess at this point
For a second I thought that said Ranger Suarez and got real sad
The push update I got was “Suarez to the Braves” and my heart sank.
I saw R Suarez and braves and I nearly shit myself
The Mets are going to finish 6th in the NL east
Gotta say Braves are low key doing real well in FA
Braves sign a guy and we still get lol mets
They have Jose and Robert, all thats left is for Ranger to finish the Triforce of Suarez.
The Phillies and Braves keep making moves! Let’s check up on the Mets…………..oh no…..
