So for all the simpletons who keep thinking we're just going to draft a QB or sign one and he's just gonna ball out or he's ass, get it through your heads. Until we fix this offensive line, no matter who is back there, they'll be sounding just like Joe Burrow did today. It takes time, competent coaching, and good disciplined players. Sound technique, know your assignments, fill your gaps, finish your blocks. It's not gonna happen behind this line.

Been saying this for months but everyone is insisting we need a QB first. Yom Brady couldn’t win behind this OL
My delusional optimism is that we fix both at once
That’s not talent, it’s coaching.
Hey simpleton, what if we drafted a QB… and signed FA’s in the off season? Or maybe draft one in the later rounds??
We already have Kolton, JPJ, Rogers looks promising & Glaze could still improve. Drafting 1 or 2 more OLinemen is really all we need.
No excusing some of those basic errors. No way any other team has worse OL mistakes than this.
Didn’t realize it was impossible to address both issues in the offseason
So we are down JPJ and Kolton Miller. You don’t think healthy with both, a couple additions in FA/draft, and a better offensive line coach drafting a QB is a good decision?
Why does it seem so hard for people to think the team could do both? Draft a QB and add to OL? We have seen at least two recent examples of this where the team got the QB first then fixed the OL after seeing who the actual issue was on OL.
So people’s big idea is to fix the OL, win more games then how do they get the QB at top of draft? Lose on purpose? Trade up? Of course if the answer is “just trade up” if there are no takers (let’s take the 2024 draft as an example where the team tried to trade up and no one would (supposedly offered multiple 1s, 2s other picks and possibly player(s)) do You just go oh well maybe next year? If you’re in position to take a QB that could be your franchise QB you take them when you have the opportunity. This team has waited DECADES to do this continually passing on QBs in the 1st. If the team does draft a QB and they turn out to be “that guy” it makes getting everything else over the next 4+ years much easier.
I’m not listening to an Auburn fan talk about football 😂
Yea we have the worst qb in the league let’s not draft a qb in the first even though we’re tanking for that exact reason. O-line next for sure but you’re high if you think we get the number 1 pick and don’t take a qb
So you think having another bum at qb will help?
I see you say you actually know football. You’d know that QB is the hardest position to get… and get right, right?
Why on gods green earth would we use a top2 pick on a OT and not a QB? No shit it takes a minute for oline to gel. It also takes a minute for most qbs to get good as well. We have the oppurtunity to fix both in one off season. 2nd most cap room and a potential top3 pick. Bears oline was ass when they drafted Caleb and went on next season to heavily upgrade it.
The homie Jake from 2 and a Half Men is right
They should show these clips when they’re studying film because this kid probably can coach better than whatever the fuck we got going on
I agree with your take, I think people are taking this as some kind of obvious turnaround situation and if you think any differently, your automaticity wrong. Building a team takes time, the Bears among other teams took their time drafting before they got their guy at QB, look at the Titans, there were still many pieces they needed. Drafting the number one overall doesn’t automatically make you better nor does it entail getting the best coach available. Ben Johnson didn’t come here because we lack so much of the foundational pieces needed for an actually good football team. We don’t even have an identity as a team, we need to establish that as well and that starts by addressing the Oline first and foremost
In the first place, why would tanking to the number one pick somehow attract players to want to come to the Raiders? Much less coaches.
Wow, what a mess. It’s no secret this O-Line is lacking talent, but the piss poor fundamentals is strictly a coaching failure. The crappy part is this level of incompetence makes evaluating talent during the offseason really hard. Do you blame the players or the coaches? Or both?
I agree. Theres an insane lack of talent on the Oline and the team in general. Like 15-20% of the team wouldn’t be practice squad elsewhere. The Oline coaching is the ugliest thing I’ve seen at any level. On top messing JPJ for what ? The coaches ego? Insane. We need 2-3 FA’s with 2 being starting caliber , QB 1st, Oline 2nd & 4th, new Oline coach.
Nah I blame Geno
When the opportunity is there, it’s a easy choice
You take a chance on a franchise QB
And I don’t see many people in this sub if any claiming success will happen immediately with a first round rookie, there will be hard lumps .
It’s more about addressing the most important position in football . Because anyone in here not fed up with QB’s like Jimmy /Minshew/Geno are on another level of fandom
It’s time to root for a young kid and hopefully there’s enough flashes game to game that show the position is in good hands
For those saying other positions have to be addressed first : we recently watched Chicago, New England, and the Chargers address the QB spot first and fix the line second. Both teams, years ahead of this team at moment
The simpletons who make posts like this generally forget we can do both at the same time.
Yeah, some clown here says a coach can fix this nonsense.🙄🙄 Need players, and who’s going to come to a joke? Plus, Geno is true trash. You can’t draft a good qb until you get a line that’ll protect him, period. You’re not coaching out of this crap
If we can get Linderbaum from the Ravens and B. Smith from the Colts as FAs then taking QB is good. Keep Kolton, JPJ and Rogers and draft depth.
U realize the line in this clip is:
1. Missing their best 2 olineman
2. Missing caleb, who is trending to be a starter next year
Yes this version of our line was complete dogshit. We enter next year with less holes just due to guys getting healthy and progressing.
But what if we trade for Burrow.
I say it every time I see this guy. I want him as our OL coach
I can’t blame the OC at his point for the OL…I said I wait a few weeks before being extremely critical of Pete. But if Olson is the baseline of a competitive NFL average OC, Brennon HAS FAILED>
I like this guys videos.
Our O line coaching is horrendous.
Idk what the Joe Burrow reference is.
This online is soft as baby shit
Get manhandled every game . Not 1 of those guys should be on an nfl roster next year
