  1. I think I’d prefer AJ getting in reps over Branham. Yeah yeah send Bub to the G League and all that, but Branham is not in our long term plans and he just doesn’t have the potential to generate any value to trade for a 2nd rounder that is high enough to deny AJ any more playing time. AJ’s small but he’s no doubt skilled and probably the best ball handler we’d have.

  2. We’ll see. I hope so but doesn’t bode well for his future if he’s unable to crack rotation on this terrible team lol

  3. I think AJ is miscast as a pg when he would be better as a wing, he doesn’t attack the paint, I understand the plan to get all of our young guys reps at what they are weakest in. I think AJ would be better filling the lanes, catching oops and spot up shooting. My 2¢

  4. Went to the Go-Go game yesterday. Was very interesting to watch AJ in particular. Coach yelled at him to go to specific spots multiple times; not sure if AJ didn’t know the plays or what.

AJ was athletically dominant compared to the Celtics’ guards but it didn’t translate into finishing at the rim all the time. Like, he could get there at will, but that finishing touch or slithering around the big coming over to help still needed work.

Came away thinking that game was still a lot of valuable reps for him. It’s not sexy but it is genuine player development.
