Jarred Vanderbilt actually has more points this season in less minutes than Gabe Vincent

  1. Now compare the turnover number

    22 to 6

Vando’s issue isn’t just that he can’t score. it’s that literally just passing him the ball is almost a guaranteed turnover

  2. I can’t believe we thought Vincent would be the missing piece for us to get another ring. We learned our lesson, never trust Heat role players after a good playoff run.

  3. Gabe offers gravity and teams at least have to respect the thought of him shooting. Makes a huge difference for the type of schemes and offensive gameplan.

There’s a reason Gabe gets more playing time due to net overall benefit on the floor

  4. We have several net negatives on the bench. Cool. Arguing that Vando should play over Vincent doesn’t accomplish anything. They’re both liabilities.

  5. And yet when Gabe has been on the floor the Lakers are a +11 for the season and when Vando has been in they’re -9 so Gabe is 20 points better that Vando.

  6. Teams will literally not guard vando in the corner and leave him completely by himself because they know he can’t shoot for shit. At least gabe is shooting 36% from three this season and can randomly get hot 1 in every 34 games. they’re both horrible it’s just gabe is slightly less horrible on offence.
