"San Francisco Giants: Waiting on pitching

Word is, the Giants aren’t close to anything yet. They have a glaring need for starting pitching and are expected to address the unit at some point. They’re having conversations to bolster the unit but all indications are it will take some time for Buster Posey and the front office to land reinforcements."

  1. They’ll sign Max Scherzer for 1 year $20 million and then try to make Birdsong throw strikes again. They’ll proceed to go 81-81 again.

  2. It’s starting to get pathetic. Ik fans love posey and think he’s been awesome and to be fair compared to Farhan HE HAS. Adames, amazing, Devers amazing, But let’s not forget how he lied about Burnes… we acted like he was ours and they came out exposing posey to say he wasn’t even competitive.

Same position, more dire of a situation, please don’t use the same dam tactics learn from your mistakes Gerald PLEASE

  3. Meh. I want to see cool news as much as the next fan, but I feel like the winter meetings have become less and less meaningful, with most big (and even medium) signings taking place afterwards these days.

  4. Hey c’mon, that’s not true. They’re close to .500 and close to the top of the league in ticket sales. What else do they need?

  5. Let’s all take (checks notes) Robert Murray from (checks again) Fansides’ word for it and freak out even though the offseason isn’t over yet! Sounds great!

  6. I wound not say that there is “glaring” needs for pitching. I think we need a right fielder more than pitchers.
