This is definitely the right side of the platoon JJ spoke about to cover Jac against lefties. Will also start some in the other spots as well.
And in those quotes he also discussed we’d be needing two OFers. So half way there. Now we just wait for the, hopefully, bigger impact bat to go with him.
Hopefully JJ’s “got a buddy” he’d like to call to get a deal done.
Willing to be proven wrong, but I don’t give a shit about this signing
I like the signing as a platoon piece, we just need to make sure we have a second much bigger signing. Lane Thomas won’t fix all our outfield problems, we need a true everyday starter
Literally a throwaway signing….
Could end up being a bargain pickup but definitely not the splash everyone wanted.
To be honest I don’t want any of them. Especially for the cost
He’s a solid platoon guy.
I wanted to be a little annoyed but at 1 yr 5mil that’s not a bad deal. He had a tough year off injury but before that wasn’t he kind of a hot commodity in the offseason?? Or am I mistaking him for someone else
