I looked down assuming the Bucs had it, looked back up and the Falcons offense was lining up and I assumed I missed a flag on the play. No part of me believed Atlanta recovered that fumble.

This was hands down the worst officiating call all season … so far. How was this not challenged and overturned?!?!???
The Bucs had the ball when the ref was calling this, no way the Falcons recovered this unless the camera angle didn’t show something but they never showed it again
Cousins post game explanation was that he recovered, but the game was down to the last like 30 seconds, and the refs blew the whistle, so he let go of the ball to get up and quickly set up the next play. Once he’s downed by contact the play is dead, if a Buc takes the ball out it doesn’t matter as the play is over.
