Yurov finds him and quick shot and release short side. Aer got there in time to break it up for Minnesota. Jones like he may have caught a stick up high but no arms in the air so he plays on Sturm good at the line sends it out front. Spurgeon a redirect that went just wide down the slot for Minnesota. Chips it just wide. Rodi leaves it for Terasenko to Capab down the slot. Turns to the forehand. Fires and a glove save by Hoter. Hoter stops Capriov. It’s 000. Allow them to make plays but he’s tweaked some things where he’s brought some intelligence to the group. They know how to manipulate the shape of the penalty kill and these guys are they’re running with it. Hastman back to Robertson. A shot and they score. They can change directions on the way. And Robertson who as we just mentioned has scored 16 in his last 15 games. You play with fire, uh, you’re going to get hurt. Offensive zone penalty and wild kill. Look at the box isn’t set. Dallas’s power play manipulates the kill in the shape of the penalty kill. They can attack you from all angles. Robertson who’s got 19 goals on the year. And initially I think the right matchup is Rantin against Erikson EC cuz Ranton’s such a big body. E might be one of the only guys that can combat that. Baldi in a shot. Erikson it scores from Dzone coverage and just a battle win from Ericen X stripping Robertson. Then Baldi jumps past his guy. They create a twoon one at the net. But how about this fake shot from Baldi? That’s totally freezes. Puts him down to the ice and then Baldi trying to stop and bring it back from behind the goal line to the front. And right at the last second indeed. I mean Erikson is a guy that I think you could maybe call him an analytics darling. Like scores goals but to the eye test you wouldn’t think like wow this guy’s going to Now loose at the line and a shot goes off the post. Two good shifts. Dallas, they came back got their chance. It’s what you expect when you get two teams that have been on top of their game lately. Hastenan scores off the faceoff win. Hasten with a short-handed goal. The first short-handed goal allowed by the Wild this season. And Dallas thriving on the special teams tonight. Well, these can be deflating and well have to find a way to not let it be. So faceoff win cleanal a bump to hen in and he unloads on this one and broaden races over for Minnesota. Appleenko out to Johnston. He scores. Gustiffson got caught awkwardly out of position on this play. It’d have to be on the entry. Challenging the goal for off sides. Doesn’t go north. And because of that, he draws himself off sides. Oh, clearly offside. Yeah, clearly off sides. Drew himself off with an error pass. After coach’s challenge video review, it was determined to play with offside. All right, no fall. Faceoff readiness gets his to Bouam and then he slides it over to Bosian who unleashes on it game with that kind of intensity. It’s had a playoff feel. It really has and love the data when it supports too like what we’re seeing and tied up by Duchain at center and Duchaine emerges with the puck dropped it to Ranton and spins to the back end and a save by Gustoson by William was allowed. That stick was in the hands. But how about the move from Ratin? Speaking of hands. Kind of go outside in on Hartman. Boy, Gustin Grantin who was slow to his feet after the hit is now back in the play. Robertson a shot and another shoulder stop by Gustiffson. Here’s Baldi working down the wall against Ranson and centers and they score. Marcus Johansson with a goal for the second consecutive game and Minnesota has the lead for the first time tonight. the battle. Wild have their first lead of the game. And it’s attention to detail for the group. It’s back to Johnston up high. Hasten. Back to Johnston. Goes down low. Ben Johnston. Hasten a drive. It was blocked in front. Capri has Bolley with him and Bley in for the empty net goal. Minnesota leads by two. And then that’s the one-time from Hasten. Wild’s defensive zone coverage had collapsed. Room was there. He just ends up hitting. Final minute here in St. Paul. Two-goal lead for Minnesota. Duchaine centers. It’s Colian was denied at the side of the net. A backhander by Johansson. Matt Boldy had a three-point game and Marcus Johansson scored twice as the Minnesota Wild defeated the Dallas Stars 5-2.
