Is a supebowl appearance really sounding too far fetched?

  1. A few weeks ago I would’ve questioned if the defense is good enough to overcome the horrible offense. Now, I’m a believer. 21 points or more we win every game

  2. Insofar as we can’t run the ball consistently I don’t buy it.

    I can see us making a run at and an appearance in the AFCCG but idk man super bowl is tough for me to believe with our offensive issues right now

  3. Yes this is a superbowl team

    The offense needs to get right and we won’t lose another game

  4. If we could finally go to the AFC title game… not thinking any further than that at the moment. Just win the divisional round please!

  5. I’m chugging the kool-aid especially seeing how in shambles the bucs are after TNF. Thank God we have someone who’s a player coach AND a defensive God unlike Todd Bowles

  6. Why don’t we get past the divisional round for the first time in franchise history before talking about the big one boys

  7. If we can literally just keep whatever offense we are playing against to just 16 or less, we can do it

  8. I knew this defense would be the best in the league but I didn’t realize it could be the greatest of all time. The team may be unbalanced, but the defense just keeps putting a hand on the scale. I couldn’t be more happy to be wrong that it is working.

    The video is right though, if I was another team, the Texans are the team I would least like to see in the playoffs. You know that the defense will throttle you and now you just wonder what offense shows up.

  9. The only teams that worry me are the Rams and Seahawks. Maybe we’ll get another shot at em

  10. I think I’m buying into Demeco’s message too hard. It’s a week at a time for me. Super Bowl? We haven’t even clinched a playoff berth. We’ve got a lot of work in the next few weeks. So one week at a time.

  11. We have the best defense we have ever had yet we got Nick Cailey who can waste everything for us

  12. Do you think you are the only team with a really good defense? What happens when a playoff team with a really good offensive line plays you? What if the other team has a really good run game? You won’t have any home field in the later stages of the playoffs. There’s a lot of talented veteran super bowl winning coaches in the playoffs so what sets you apart? Playing in Denver or NE is not as easy as you think it is. Beating Josh Allen in the regular season is one thing but that motherfukker is him in the playoffs

  13. I believe it’s possible. I’m not emotionally sold on actually getting there but I can tell you logically there’s a larger than usual chance.

    Let’s keep going one week at a time. Offense has gotten better gradually and if it can continue to improve I’ll start really getting excited. First let’s clinch playoffs.

  14. @KC
    @BAL
    @IND
    SF
    JAX
    BUF

    Before the season began, if you’d told me we’d win all 6 of these I’d have asked what you were smoking. Not a single team that we’ve lost to has beaten us by more than one score, with three of those five losses being to teams that are literally **tied at the top of their respective conferences**.

    Now you can somehow put an asterix against all of those:
    – KC is washed, needs a rebuild.
    – BAL had no Lamar, and may not make the playoffs.
    – IND had a hobbling QB.
    – SF had Mac Jones playing.
    – JAX beat us in Duval.
    – BUF was a home game on TNF.

    But that completely ignores that we won three games (and narrowly lost to a conference leader) **with our QB2.** The simple fact is that with a 17 game schedule, every team is going to have its ups and downs.

    That plays to our second strength, our roster depth has significantly improved. I’d trust Lassiter to fill in at CB1, any two out of Ward/Pitre/Bullock/Reed as safeties, Higgens/Kirk/Noel/Hutch as a WR corps, and our DL to still be terrifying if WAJ or Hunter went down. Davis Mills in the space of three games has fully justified getting $8m next year to ride the bench, because instead of being in a Colts-esque mess we did the most important thing in those three games and got the win.

    Would I rather have had CJ in and had less nerve wracking wins? Of course. But we can now lose a top guy and still be an absolute force, even if it’s at the most important position.
