You guys must laugh at other fanbases losing their mind saying you broke the league.

Idk how fans can even compare adding a top 3 player to an already loaded team where presti built through the draft organically. I like okc so I hope you guys keep dominating as I always appreciate draft built teams.

Not as funny when the rabbit gets the gun now is it
I have to admit – the warriors fans have been very supportive from everything I’ve seen on here about us potentially being a dynasty for the most part.
I think the part that might make this worse, at least for everyone else’s psyche, is the fact that people are very quick to remind everyone after every Clippers loss that we have their FRP. KD joining the Warriors only started being discussed after our playoff series with them in 2016. Everyone gets to have the idea of us getting Dybansta or Boozer hang over their head for about 5 more months.
Lmao. Imagine us getting Jokic. Thats how KD had broken the league back then.
Crazy revisionist calling prime pg13 (top 3 dpoy, and top 3 mvp season) an “older vet” 💀. What’s even funnier is the main reason for the post is about jonathan kuminga hahahaah
they’re so brain rotted. it’s not just assembling the players, we had rough years before this. We also had a crazy lineup in 2011 but we didnt win, it’s no coincidence we have the best FO bc it takes all that to win in this league, esp this consistently.
From OKC, lived in KC for 9 years. This is the same brain rot people have over the Chiefs and their dynasty. People just hate to see someone else’s success.
We don’t think about them at all
Zero self awareness lmao
Maaaan. The Warriors fan base is something else. And this is coming from someone who was born and raised and still lives in the SF Bay Area (Lakers fan here). OKC plays great team basketball, the way it should be played!
Ok now I want the Thunder to somehow get Giannis for only 2nd round picks just to see this guy’s stellar crashout.
KD signing legitimately broke the league. Everyone knew they were gonna face Lebron in the finals and win it.
We are the favorites but don’t have the kind of odds KD, Steph, Klay, Draymond, and Iggy off the bench did.
Look, everyone hates us. But… no one is on the Warriors’ side complaining about stacking a team. The shit was a decade ago, not the 1970s. Is this person crazy?
I saw a post asking if they’d take away our pick or make sure it doesn’t convey and the funny thing is no one would ask that if this was New York, Miami, or LA doing this rebuild. They’d be singing their praises. Not to mention it’s all a gamble anyway. They’d be punishing the team that is built mostly through late lottery, second round picks, and undrafted lol
It’s insane how everyone treats the thing okc received from this trade as surefire successes. All the current stars for the team, including Shai ” afraid to shoot” G. Alexander where either unproven or good prospects. The only player in this roster not developed by the Organization and expected to be a surefire star was chet holmgren and they act like the league just handed the thunder generational talent after generational talent. All this hate covers up the astonishing player evolution achieved by the franchise
I’m a Raps fan, but I support SGA and generally love watching you guys play.
This you broke basketball shit is dumb. SP made these moves patiently and methodically. He didn’t cash in picks to rush team development by getting big names. He traded for SGA and the clippers pick. He signed the right players. He drafted well. You created a chasm of depth. He finessed everything.
So now, people are sore about it? Like well played. That’s it. Guy did his job. Take notes and move the fuck on.
It think the Thunder are strong but the rest of the league is weakish. Talent is spread around, some of the best players are injury prone or have a weakish team. It is not normal that people are still considering KD, Bron, Anthony Davis as difference makers. Yes they are good, but honestly their time has past.
OKC is very good but not yet like the 2016-2017 Warriors. But with this league, even with the strict salary caps and luxury tax, they might dominate for longer.
People said the quiet part out loud they were just mad the “small markets” in the Midwest were dominating. They still are
they just mad they drafted wiseman and podz
Comparing Shai with Kuminga (who has had 5 years to develop) is simply diabolical
