San Jose Sharks at Toronto Maple Leafs Game Highlights (12/11)

[Music] Welcome back to Toronto inside Scotia Bank Arena. Randy Hod with Drew Ramena. Game 32 of this regular season for the San Jose Sharks in their first of two meetings. That’s off the outside of the net. Kurishv slips a hit from along the corner. Played it right up the gut. It ends up on Deandria stick. Ty Deandria and a penalty coming up against Toronto. And a penalty shot for Ty Dandria. to Andrea with the penalty shot and Hildy makes the save. Tried to go five hole. Didn’t get the shot that he wanted to the circling knander. Dickinson lost an edge trying to stay with Knander who’s behind the net with it. Now McKe and they score. Puts it in front of the defense. There’s no B. There’s too many bodies there and then it turns and goes the other way. And after a little bit of time in the offensive zone for the Toronto Maple Leaf, they get the puck. That’s it into Matthew Ny. And back to Matthews. Morgan Riley out on the wing. Quickly back from Knander. Nice parked at the net. The bumper is Tvaris. Knander cross ice. They score. Austin Matthews. A power play goal to make it two nothing. Landers looks to the point. He’s looking back to the blue line. Trying to get on the board here in this second period. Clingberg loads up, gives it to Orlof and he scores. Off the bar and in. I like the play by Clingberg, too. Just for a second, he holds as the Quebec born Simone Ben tries to clear it out on his own. Celebrating across and Hildy diving across. Sharks 0 for two with the man advantage tonight. Here’s Godette for Barkley Goodro. Reeves goes to the net and scores. It’s Revo time in Toronto. You see it right here in the middle. He has control of the puck now. He’s going to have control and he backs into the zone. This is quick here. After coach’s challenge determined that the play was offside, we have no goal. Wenberg chips Cabbrini for Clingberg. He’ll load up and score. John Clingberg. And watch how Clingberg reads off of Wenberg. He sees where Wenberg is and then he shoots to the other side of it. Chev has an overtime winner already this year. Here’s Riley back for Toronto. Austin Matthews and that’s off his stick to Eklan. Ecklund has Wenberg. Twoon one. Alex Wenberg. Ecklund save. Rebound score. Alex Wenberg caps off a great night with the overtime winner in Toronto. Eight stick in the net. That is a goal that is going to be counted as a winner. What a play. Alex Went has had a terrific game. Pass across shot rebound gets his stick free. Max Doi’s got a hold of it. He gets his stick free and he’s able to get his stick on it. And it’s a good goal on the ice. And this one. Oh no. Now they’re saying it’s going up to review, but I think he gets his stick on. Here’s the best angle. He does get a stick on it. Shot rebound. The previous play is under review to see if the play was prior to the goal. After reviewing the play was determined that the play was on side. We have a good goal. The game is over. The Sharks do win as Alex Wenberg in overtime gives the Sharks a 3-2 victory.

  1. Tonight was the worst game ever! The Leafs had a 2-0 lead until the Sharks took it away from us. San Jose, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES FOR MAKING THE LEAFS BLOW A 2-0 LEAD!
