He’s one of those guys who’s *really good* for the AHL — just not quite up to scratch in the Bigs. I’ve liked Appleton’s game and hustle so far. He was a useful pick up. Hopefully not out long. Having been to a few Griffs games lately, Gus actually looks really good in GR. He scored a nice goal last night. He skates and moves the puck well. He’s one of those guys who’s *really good* for the AHL — just not quite up to scratch in the Bigs.
