The write up:
The first of four players on this list who earned All-NBA honors last season, Mobley was also voted Defensive Player of the Year at the conclusion of a breakthrough fourth campaign. Mobley is shooting a career-low 50% from the field amidst an uneven Cavaliers start but with career highs in points and assists per game.
To take the next step, Mobley could… marry the volume uptick we've seen this season with the efficiency he provided last season, when he boasted a career-best .633 true shooting percentage. One factor that could help: if Mobley ever gets to play center full time, perhaps his best position, and controls the defensive glass in that spot.
I don’t know that whether he plays center or forward matters all that much – it’s more where he gets the ball and how he plays that will decide where he ranks and how far we go when all is said and done

My eyetest and impact on this team compared to the others is telling me he should be way lower on the list.
Just as a note – Mobley was 8th on this list last year
Mobley isnt better than anyone here besides maybe scottie barnes. Can we not be delusional, how is he ahead of banchero?
Disrespectful to Chet honestly. Dude has been balling
I don’t see how Chet could be considered worse
Between those 5 I think I take Chet, but I gotta imagine injury concerns are going into the rankings quite a bit.
It’s probably Chet, Mobley, Franz, Bums, Paolo rn if we’re being real
At first I thought maybe him over Chet was a matter of Chet being out most of last year, but Mobley averages more points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals with fewer fouls than Chet this year.
From a statistical standpoint, Mobley is doing more pretty much across the board. The only knocks against him here is he’s got worse shooting percentages and more minutes.
Have they seen Mobley dribble, process information or respond to any sort of physical intimidation?
It’s in stone then. Make a big monument and an arch way. Mommy I found something worse for my brain than drugs. The egg is sizzling fast mommy.
If he’s able to grow his game to stay ahead of the mentioned group things might just work out for us.
Anyone emphasizing that he needs to play C makes me think they don’t know what they’re talking about though. That’s the ‘if he adds 30 lbs of muscle plan’, which he’s never going to do.
