  1. I’d keep them! No matter what, he will always be remembered as an all time Met. I also collect Pete and as much as it sucks, I’ll continue to collect his cards as an O and complete the collection

  2. I learned my lesson after deGrom. Parted ways with all of my RPAs and /5s. Ended up getting a Mantle.

  3. Learned my lesson 20-25 years ago when i was hoarding Adam Dunn’s, Willy Mo Pena, Alex Escobars of the world.

  4. You’re still allowed to be a fan of the player when he moves on.

Then again I occasionally question all the Conforto cards that I own.

  5. He’s still the Mets’ all-time homerun leader and an all-time great Met, I’m holding a lot of my Pete stuff still, the man is Mets history no matter what!

  6. And the worst part is all his cards are gonna tank as Mets fans are not gonna buy them anymore and Orioles fans are gonna want the cards where he is an Orioles jersey

  7. A friend of mine is dating a Mets fan and was asking for my help choosing a gift and it pained me how many of the best options were Pete things. They really let the soul of the franchise walk over money in a sport with no salary cap.
