Minnesota Twins minority investors aren’t good for fans
They don’t want to own distressed securities. They want to maximize the financial uh return for them. So, do I think that this is a positive? Absolutely not. I think that this is a this is exactly what we thought, which is, you know, private equity, hedge funds, all of that stuff. Um, the fact that we are now trying to celebrate that, oh man, the twins might go from $95 million on their payroll tound uh to I think 115 110 to 115 is the rumor. Let’s all celebrate is complete nonsense. Uh, this is going to be this is going to be a painful process financially in which everybody tries to get out as soon as possible. So, do I see this as being good for baseball fans? No, not one bit. I see this as being exactly what we thought, which is the poll ads uh found that you can’t sell a team with that much acred debt. Nobody was going to pay them. Baseball, I’m sure, said the Tampa Bay Rays sold for X amount and you guys can’t get that. You know, bug off. Get out of here. Get your house in order. Um, so as far as baseball goes, I think that this is I think this is bad news, but unfortunately it’s not surprising
The Minnesota Twins new reported minority investors are NOT good news for fans.

Bringing in private equity usually means the business gets stripped down and sold in pieces, the outcome in these situations is the business is run by a board once it's sold. Honestly, could this lead this to team contraction?
If the Pohlad's are involved, it is best for them and not for the people that built them a stadium. The sooner the Twins are sold and probably moved, the sooner we can use the Target field to attract a team like the Marlins or Rays.
