[EvolvingWild] It’s nuts how close the NHL playoff race in the East is. I keep thinking we’re doing something wrong, but if we’re wrong I don’t know how. The East is absolutely nuts – I haven’t seen something like this since we’ve been doing team point projections.

  1. I’m not expecting playoffs, but I overall like this group. Doan, Benson, and this years Sammy are refreshing on their own.

Please management, don’t screw this up again. It is literally your job to make a decision on goaltending, make a decision on Tuch, make a decision on if you’re still trying to make the playoffs, etc. Hurry tf up. The whole league thinks we look incompetent and we’re proving them right. The Oilers are showing some balls today, where are ours ?

  2. This team is ass. Its been ass for the last decade and a half and will continue to be ass until Terry either sells the team or does the world a favor and keels over.

  3. I wonder what in their underlying model still gives us a 50% playoff chance. This would imply that the sabres are pretty significantly better than the wings/bruins/leafs

  4. UPL gets hot for 20 games, Dahlin has his usual dominant play starting around thanksgiving-new year to the end of season (it’s started) and the team keeps up how they have played in general (playing hard, playing to the buzzer) and there is no reason why they couldn’t get to 95 points. They have really solid depth and get scoring all over.

  5. I’m not going to complain, it’s giving us more momentum this year than last year after that 13-loss streak.

  6. We have our first first overall pick on his prime, our second first overall pick about to enter his prime, and Tage. The Atlantic has never been more wide open and our owner won’t fucking spend any money. We should at least be the Devils by now

  7. We ain’t jumping all those teams. Both wildcard teams have 2 games in hand on us also. Not…happening.

  8. Does their projection model take into account this teams complete lack of ability to win a game once they get to .500
