Giannis Antetokounmpo Miami Heat Rumors Are HEATING UP!

[Music] Is Miami on the list of destinations Giannis Antmpo would want to go to? Well, an NBA insider, more specific, Sam Amik believes that Miami could be the second most likely destination for Giannis and a really good fit for the multi-time MVP and NBA champion. He said this on a FanDuel Sports Network show saying if the Knicks trade is too hard to execute, maybe he looks at Miami and tries to make that work. Almost implying that it’s not maybe a report, but his assumption that hey, if the Knicks don’t actually pull off a Giannis trade because their package isn’t good enough or maybe they just want to stick with what they got, Miami would be that second best option for Giannis. And I say this, there is a lot of smoke out there right now between Giannis and Miami. You obviously have had a interest in the past between both parties. Jake Fischer is out there talking about how he thinks that’s a realistic outcome. You have guys like Sam Am saying what he said. Bill Simmons thinks it’s a really good fit. Brett Seagull even speculated that the Heats package could be one of the best ones out there for Anthony Kmpo. I’m not coming up here to say it’s going to get done, but when there’s a lot of chatter from NBA analysts and potential insiders about how it makes sense for Giannis and Miami to come together here, well, maybe there is a very decent chance that actually happens. Like to me, I’ll say this. If the trade happens for Miami, it has to happen before the trade deadline. It just does because to me the only way you’re going to get the Giannis Antico sweep stakes to come your way is if you get a trade done before the deadline. If this goes past the deadline, this goes into the off season. Well, then I think teams like San Antonio, OKC, if things go somehow south, but very unlikely in the Knicks, well, it gives them a higher chance to because they would then have more tradable assets then because specifically with the Knicks, who obviously is the most rumored destination for Giannis because of what was reported by Shams in the offseason, the only trade they can make prior to the deadline, is sending two of Cat, OG, and Bridges, one first round pick in 2020. 26, four first round pick swaps and six second round picks. But let’s just call a spade a spade here, folks. And this isn’t me being biased. This is not a good tradeoffer for Giannis. Why would the Bucks want two veterans that don’t fit their new timeline after trading Giannis, especially if it is Car Towns who isn’t a winner and you’re paying him 50 plus million dollars per season and you ask, well, is that the best fit with Miles Turner? then Bucks wouldn’t be getting a lot of draft capital or young assets in this trade. It just doesn’t make a lot of sense from their perspective. But if it went to the off season and the Knicks could flip one or two of those three for more draft picks to reroute for Giannis and make it like a three four team trade if you will, well then that gives it a higher chance in my opinion where Giannis ends up a Nick. But if it happens before the February deadline, well maybe Miami is more likely. Make sure you are subscribed and make sure you have notifications turned on here. Well, I wanted to bring up that point about getting a trade done if it was to happen to Miami before the deadline because there is a high possibility in chance that well, it doesn’t happen this February and ultimately does get taken into the summer. Sam Amik actually believes that if a trade happens, he thinks it’s more likely to happen in the summertime because the Bucks know exactly what I just said and they will be able to get a larger return for Giannis in the off season when teams have more flexibility to rope in a multi-team trade or teams just have more assets to trade. For example, Miami could trade three picks this upcoming off season rather than two. Same thing with New York. Like teams will be able to offer more when more is available in the offseason. So it does make sense from Miami or to Milwaukeee’s perspective to ultimately wait till the off season. But as I mentioned, that would be pretty bad for Miami, which is why I think Pat Riley and the Heat. If they think Giannis is available and Giannis would want to come to this organization, you need to get super super aggressive, apply the pressure, and try to get the trade done before the deadline in February and hope that Giannis pushes the Milwaukee Bucks organization to trade him prior to that deadline as well, rather than waiting until the off season in June and July. I think I would up my trade offer. We’ve talked about my trade offer for Giannis a ton. It all starts with hero wear and the unprotected first round picks in 29 and 2031. I mean, those are non-negotiable. Those will be in the package, but I’m upgrading Nola Yoic to Himeme Hawkeye Jr. to try to get this over the edge. Vonteio’s there to help with salary plus a little bit of an expiring contract. And you also have to add four first round pick swaps. So, you’re losing control of all your draft capital from now until 2032. You’re sending unprotected in 2029 and 2031, and you’re allowing Milwaukee the opportunity to have that pick swapped if they wanted to in 2026, 2028, 2020,30, and 2032. You’re sending every single asset you have. And to me, it is still worth it for Miami to get this done before the bidding truly gets into a war and super open in the off season. You move heaven and earth to go get Giannis right now and get that done before the deadline because he would elevate you to a degree that would be top of the Eastern Conference and you have the best player in the Eastern Conference for the next what, four or five years. without a question you would have him on the Miami Heat. So, let me know. I actually want to ask you guys this. Not would you accept this trade, not whether it is a good deal for Milwaukee. Let me know. Is this too much to offer for Giannis Anthony Koopo? Hero wear Hakez and all of our picks. Why for yes? And if you think it’s not enough or type P if you think it’s a perfect price point. Now, let’s talk about this as well and why I think it makes so much sense to push all in to the table and all in to the chips to get Giannis Antoopo in Miami. Bam and Giannis maybe are good friends is a strong way, but they have a very positive and good relationship. Just go back to August 5th of 2019 when an article was dropped on an interview with Bameabio talking about how he and Giannis have become at least friends and have had a relationship. We’ve got the same agent and I feel like it started because we started respecting each other’s games. When we go at it, it feels like force meets force. There’s no back down from either one of us. It came from a mutual respect for each other. And I think that is an important intriguing note here. Bam and Giannis share the same agent, Alex Sataras. I don’t know if I’m botching that last name, but they do share the same agent, which could back channel recruiting by Adabio potentially or Giannis and Bam coming together and the agent Alex really trying to make things happen. And like it’s just like a pipe dream for me because if you are a fan of highlevel basketball, especially on the defensive end of the floor, you should be rooting for these two to ultimately become teammates. I’m not overexaggerating when I say this. I truly believe you can go out through the course of NBA history, I don’t think there would be a better duo on the defensive end of the floor than Bam and Giannis. The ability those two have to switch, to protect the rim, to generate chaos, they can each guard one through five. They can protect the paint. and those two working in tandem. Oh my goodness, it really is a dream. Like the ability to watch that a nightto-ight basis would just maybe be the most special thing as an NBA fan. And I’ve seen Dwayne Wade, LeBron, and Chris Bosch on the court together. And I’m telling you, Giannis and Bam just defensively together. Would be on par in terms of enjoyable hoops to watch. Today’s show is sponsored by Prize Picks. It is the holiday season. You got bowl games, you got basketball matchups, you’ve got playoff pushes. And while we’re all eating, buying gifts, there’s one place where it feels good to be right, and that is on prize picks. You can now pick the same player up to three times in the same lineup. You want to go more than on Norman Powell fantasy score points, three-pointer attempted? Well, now you can. Only on prize picks. Just pick more or less in at least two player stats. And if you get your picks right, you could cash in. No Heat Basketball until next Monday against the Raptors. So, we’re going to the football streets. More than Devonte Chan rushing yards, less than Jaylen Warren rushing yards, and less than Malik Washington receiving yards in that Steelers Dolphins Monday Night Football game. Download the prize picks app today and use code CLNS to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. That’s code C lns to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $ five dollar lineup prize picks. It’s good to be right. And I want to go back a little bit to the idea of acquiring Giannis and sending every single thing in your being to ultimately get him because I’m not sure Miami could ever have an equal or better chance to acquire a player of this magnitude ever again. Like the fact that Giannis is even potentially going to be available on the trade market is absolutely insane because you don’t see top three players in the world get traded. So the fact that Miami could have a bid that could win it means that Miami should go full court. And this isn’t the first time we’ve talked about Yianis. Like how about this report from Jake Fischer, which I actually don’t think is that surprising to me. Like you go back to 2020 when there was thoughts and inklings that Giannis was going to ask out. This comes right after Miami beat the Milwaukee Bucks in the bubble playoffs and Miami obviously made the NBA finals that the Heat and Mavericks were the two teams that if Giannis actually decided to ask out for Milwaukee, that’s where he would have went. Now he didn’t. And then the next season they went on to win a championship. So good job by Giannis for staying put for at least another year. But the point I’m trying to make here is that we’ve already detailed if you’re trading Giannis before the deadline. The Knicks package isn’t very good. The Mavericks aren’t really going to go make a Giannis trade. And the only reason why Giannis wanted to go to Dallas at the time is to play with Luca Donic. So you could argue maybe the Lakers are in on it. But then once again, who are they trading? Because are they trading Reeves? They only have one tradable first round pick. So they would have to really jump through hoops. Then you talk about the San Antonio Spurs. I think the Spurs might drop out of the race because it sounds like they are not willing to break up their young core of Stefan Castle, Dylan Harper, Victor Webbyama. And yes, the Spurs have a ton of draft capital and can just overwhelm Milwaukee maybe with four firstrounders, but you wouldn’t really get any young players in return because I don’t even think the Spurs are willing to trade Deon Vel. So, like if you’re San Antonio, yeah, you’re getting four first, but are you just fine getting four first and then like Kell Johnson and Harrison Barnes? I don’t know if that’s the case. And then you also go into the fact that Giannis has so much leverage here because he is such a franchise legend and go to where he can basically say, “Yeah, I don’t want to go there. I do want to go there.” So maybe Giannis just says, “I only want to go to New York or Miami.” and then Miami could out bid New York for Antin Cougall. Like to me, I think this is a potential perfect marriage. Like you talk about Giannis’s next step in his career. I think Giannis needs Miami and I believe Miami needs Giannis. I think it works out perfectly. Why would Giannis need Miami? Well, if he wants to move on from Milwaukee, Giannis could be paired up with a good scoring guard in either Powell or Hero and Bam in the front court and work with the best coach in the NBA, Eric Spolstra. Miami needs Giannis because they need to make a trade. Like to me, there is no world where Miami can have the same roster they have as we’re filming this video today on Thursday afternoon and then have the same roster in February when we pass the trade deadline. And why do I say that? I have a hot take. I think if the Heat can’t land Giannis, the Miami Heat should still attempt to trade one of Tyler Herro or Norman Powell before the February trade deadline. Why do I say that? I don’t think this Heat team is going to be able to win anything because one, they don’t have the talent to compete with the elite teams in the NBA for an NBA title. They could make some noise in the East, sure, but title-wise, no. I also don’t think Hero and Powell will work long term together. And with Norman Powell becoming a free agent this upcoming off season, hero extension eligible, you have to make a decision on one of them. You cannot keep two of them long term. There is just too many redundancies in those two guys games. Not good defenders, volume scorers that play the same position. Doesn’t make sense to have both of them. So, if you want to make a decision on like, okay, we didn’t get Giannis. Who should we trade? You can flip the veteran Norman Powell before he becomes a free agent for one first round pick at the deadline to a score or to a contending team that needs a scorer. That’s an option. You can maybe try to trade Powell or hero to upgrade at wing. Leonard maybe. I don’t know. I don’t not think the Clippers would want Norman Powell back, but you kind of get my point here. I don’t really have any specific ideas for you here, but you should not have both of them on the roster past the trade deadline no matter what. Whether you get Giannis or you don’t, Powell and Hero can’t be here together in February, in March, in April. I feel very strongly about that at this point. That’ll do it for today’s show. 1. 8:40 best defensive duo in NBA History? You must be a GenZ who doesn’t know NBA History! That record belongs to Duncan and Robinson! Both 7 footers, with athleticism and impeccable shot block timing!

  2. I really doubt there is going to be a bidding war for Giannis. The landscape of the NBA has changed now most teams don’t want to give up multiple picks and their young assets anymore since the SGA trade for PG

  3. Giannis trade to Heat would start with Bam. Nobody wants Miami's over paid underachieving bench players. Yes, Herro is a 6th Man paid like a starting star.

  4. I want Ware traded and it is real that the Buks want the Slender Rim Bender more than any other Heat player. Pat Riley is afraid Kelel might be injured therefore they are limiting Ware's minutes. They know it is coasting the Heat wins but they want Giannis so bad they keep Kelel on ghe bench more and when he is in the game the rest of the heat ignores Ware. Make Kelel happy and send him to a team that beat the Celtics without Giannis

  5. Ware, JJJ, Herro and Fonteccho plus 1 first rounder for Giannis. Neither Ban nor Giannis are good jump-shooters, Ware is better than both. Better rebounder too, go Ware and prove the coach of the Heat wrong. For now the Heat, can't allow Ware have another great game cause the fans would then scream loud, KEEP WARE, GOTTA KEEP WARE AND FEATURE HIM AS A MAJOR PLAYER.

  6. The question is does he wants to play for The Miami Heat. Not for us to go all in for him and does not play on a level of leadership. Why give up all what we have well what we have left for him if he does not want to play here. Now if he desire to play here then yes why not. But we also have to look at his past history of injuries. How many games he missed. I think he is going to stay til the end of the season and see what team is going to go all out
