Wow! I can’t believe this was just lying around! Into a display case it goes! Thanks so much everyone. Although I’m a Bronco fan, the 9ers are my 2nd team after living in the Bay Area for a while. This one feels pretty sweet!

This is Jerry Rice (WR) and Brent Jones (TE). I’m not a handwriting expert, but the Brent Jones is a nice signature and looks like the signatures I’ve seen. He usually but not always puts the 84 and it’s consistent.
The Jerry signature originally gave me pause as a fake. He normally puts a bracket like flourish in the first part that kind of looks like a J and a bracket that looks like a lower case “r” through the J. But there are elements here that look like it could be legit, only because this is an awkward area to be signing a hat.
YMMV, but I think you have a legit Brent Jones and a suspect JR signature. Now Jerry signed a ton of stuff, and it could very well be a sloppy rendition in an awkward place, but whereas I’m 95% confident in the Brent sig, I’m only 35% on the Jerry. It very well could be real, but if I had to bet money I’d take the bet on Brent in a heartbeat and I’d decline the Jerry as too risky.
Really nice find however and I would love to have it in my collection.
No not meaningful just the best Receiver of all time the Great Jerry Rice and a very good solid super bowl champion Brent Jones…100% authentic by the way
I think it’s worth getting checked out to see if the signatures are real.
Nice I’m the kind of guy to ask around to make sure it’s no one’s that is currently working there. Highly doubt it though. Someone in the past probably thought it got stolen.
That hat design alone is fucking rad. Would love if there is a reproduction I could purchase.
