Indiana Pacers Postgame Media Availability | December 12, 2025

Rick, this was a a game of a lot of runs. What was the key to Philadelphia’s run down the stretch? Uh, they were aggressive. They made plays. Uh, there were a couple calls I thought we could have gotten. Can I say that? Without getting fined, $40,000. I, you know, and I just I’m gonna I’m going to fight for our guys. you know, our guys have been up against it all year, fighting hard, crunchtime game. Um, you know, every play is meaningful. You you look at your bench and how they contributed. You went to Tony Bradley. You you got a lot of solid contributions tonight, didn’t you? Yeah, that’s who we have to be. Even when we were at full strength, we have to be, you know, a sum of its parts group. Um, we got a lot of really good uh, contributions. You know, TJ McConnell was great. You know, Matthews did a lot of good things off the bench. You mentioned um, mentioned Tony and Hey, disappointing uh, disappointing result, but a lot of good things from a process standpoint. And uh, we got to get home, get ready for Sunday. I know disappointed, but you feel like as you look at it now on December the 12th, you’re in a much better place collectively as a team than you were maybe a few weeks ago. Yeah, there’s no there’s no doubt about that. Um guys are have come together better. Um you know, we’re we’re consistently fighting at at a at a at a very good level and NBA games are hard. So, um, this tonight is great experience. We got to take it and make corrections that are necessary corrections and, um, and build on it. Thanks, Rick. Rick, we haven’t seen Joel play this much or this well yet this season. What did you expect from him coming in? And are you surprised at how productive he was for as long as he was? He’s a great player. He’s a He’s a perennial allstar. He’s on the Olympic team. He’s, you know, he’s Hall of Fame guy. Um, who’s surprised? I’m not surprised. Paul George is another guy. Another great great game. Edgecom is is terrific. Um yeah, I mean their their their star guys really stepped up and uh made plays, you know, last three

  1. That little pause before he answered "how do I say the refs were fucking shit without getting fined" says everything about this game. A lot of good stuff from this game, and a whole lot of annoying(embiid) stuff. I'm liking what Mathews is bringing to the team, as well as ET. Time to just move on to the next one.

  2. THE WORST DEFENSE IN THE LEAGUE BROUGHT EMBIID AND PAUL GEORGE BACK TO LIFE!!!

I HOPE RICK CARLISLE WAKES UP SOON, GIVES REAL MINUTES TO THE YOUNG GUYS, AND DOESN’T WASTE THIS SEASON — IT HAS TO BE ABOUT DEVELOPING AND POLISHING THE YOUTH.

IF MAXEY HAD PLAYED, THE BEATDOWN ON THIS G-LEAGUE-LEVEL DEFENSE WOULD’VE BEEN EVEN WORSE!!!

TONIGHT MADE IT CLEAR THAT HUFF IS, AT BEST, A BACKUP.

HOPEFULLY THEY FINALLY GO OUT AND GET AN ELITE CENTER — ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!!
