I freeze distilled in college, it can work very well but it’s fairly inefficient.
I thought he had a good season in single A but his curve hasn’t developed to the level I hope in AA

The club signed him as a international free agent from Germany in 2022. Big arm but he hasn’t been able to get movement on his fastball. If he can distill that, he’ll get back on track.
Dodgers pitching certainly put the freeze on our hitters in the NLCS. Maybe Freeze distillation would have been the tactic needed to heat up the bats, but alas it is too late to try it now.
