This VR program is how Devin Cooley helps gain an edge

I started it because uh Joey Decord is a guy I trained with, Seattle’s goalie and he’s a guy I’ve trained the last like nine 10 years and during co the his dad’s goalending company stop at goalending brought in the the VR and we were using it as part of our like training. Um, and I thought it was like pretty cool at first and then I kind of let it left it alone. And then I went to uh Rochester 2 years ago, the year I got traded to San Jose and things were not going well for me like in Rochester. I was like really struggling uh mentally and I didn’t really know what to do to improve my game and nothing was really working. So, I was basically just trying everything like trying to get something to click, trying to like improve my game in any way that I could. And one of the things I thought of was VR because Devon Levi, who was in Buffalo system, was also using the sensory. I’m like, well, I use that, you know, and I’m really struggling in the first 10 minutes of games. I feel like I’m not in it yet, but once I’m in it, I feel like I can be good. I just found that it made me immediately get into that mental headsp space of like being in the game. But again, that came because in Rochester, I sucked. I was struggling. I like I That’s what I mean. I I couldn’t figure out what like what was going on. I didn’t like my game wasn’t where I wanted it to be, blah blah blah. And I was just looking for anything that could potentially improve my game. And so I I jumped into the VR thing. And now it’s like a big staple of my game. But if I would have played sick in Rochester the whole time, like I probably would have never used it, you know? And now it’s a staple.
